Been digging more and more into Solana's ICM roadmap Short-term, we're going to start seeing some experimentation around application controlled execution (ACE). Problem - Microstructure getting in the way of app execution (IBRL progress excellent). Solution- Give apps control of their own execution, aka ACE. Timeline - Next few months start seeing early examples w/ Jito's BAM (Drift, Dflow, and Pyth mentioned). BAM will give ACE functionality to large amounts of stake immediately so once these are launched they should give good initial indications on effectiveness. Some thoughts: - Solana developers have proven time and again they move quickly to ensure the chain functions as intended, shift is now from IBRL to microstructure. - Until its up and running, Solana risks seeing project launch on Solana and trade on Hyperliquid (see PUMP). W/ HyperEVM eventually vying for the asset issuance role as well, this gives some urgency to the matter. - Until actually implemented, prop AMMS are partially filling the gap. They are the major reason behind why SOL spreads on Solana are so tight. - Beyond ACE, there's several other upgrades coming to market like Alpenglow, Double Zero, APE, and MCL. These are phased for next 1-3 years. - Read Solana roadmaps, they're very straight forward and give exact problems and solutions the teams are exploring.

the biggest companies and conglomerates in the world are building on ethereum, the major use cases for gaining traction among non crypto companies on ethereum are rwas, scalable blockchain infra, and games.

Today’s launch of three active SPDR Galaxy ETFs reflects an important moment in the evolution of crypto asset management. We are in the early stages of a crypto asset management revolution – just not the one the crypto community expected. 👇 (1/6)

Let's say you build a lot of roads. But there is nobody lives there to use them. Is it valuable? Not yet. Then you build a lot of houses. But nobody wants to live there, because there are no jobs and no other people. Is it valuable? Not yet. Then you build a lot of factories. Now there are jobs, and goods to trade, and people can move there. All the infrastructure from the first two steps becomes valuable. Before it was just potential value. Of course the value could also be created by having farms, or maybe you just have really good internet connections and all the digital nomads want to live there. Different ways to create value exist. So which one is the "valuable" part? All of them together are valuable, but missing one ingredient makes everything useless. Ethereum is an ecosystem, and you need a number of things together to make it valuable. DeFi is amazing financial infrastructure that is one of these elements. It's not that DeFi is bad, it's actually the opposite, other parts are not there yet. And if you dislike current RWAs (a term that is very broadly defined), yes we can absolutely build more digital native tokens. Just don't expect me to love them if they're just a digital casino. But you can totally still build it, there's nothing for me to stop you. I just work on the infrastructure, Ethereum is free for everyone to build on.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining the @eigencloud team on the foundation side, focusing on Ecosystem Growth and Strategy. The past ~three years at @galaxyhq have been an incredible experience. As I take a moment to reflect on my time at the firm, I’m filled with gratitude, emotion, and pride. I joined a small, entrepreneurial team within Galaxy to build a franchise infrastructure business from scratch. At the time, we were a team of four with roughly $3 million of assets under stake (AUS). Today, we have scaled that business significantly, managing over $3 billion in AUS. I’m thankful to have worked alongside a group of talented colleagues at Galaxy who competed each day with passion and the will to win. As I sought my next dream role, I prioritized joining a team that could 1) make a strong, positive impact on the space, and 2) be equipped with the best, most driven, and resilient talent with the will to win. The team at Eigenlayer made this decision easy. I can’t wait to build and collaborate with some of the most talented teammates and founders in the space. If you’re looking to explore ways to collaborate with Eigenlayer, please don’t hesitate to reach out -- I would gladly welcome a chat.

Tomorrow is HUGE! If rumours are true and the US bring BTC in as a reserve assset could we see ATH? Anything less will be a huge disappintment given the hype. Dealers are short gamma around 70k, that's 15m USD for each 1% move in spot. Weekend liquidity is often thin....

@Travis_Kling Great thread! Agree with many of your points, maybe worth adding the political shift in the US and crypto becoming an election and bipartisan point to win votes. Plus SEC dropping case vs Consensys.

Definitely need to spend more time Amsterdam, both crypto and personal life! Key themes from the week 1. MiCA - affect on stables market for EU exchanges. 2. Bullishness on SOLETH cross (despite ETH ETF approval) 3. New tech improving conditions in the borrow/lend market.
