This baseless complaint brought by the Turek campaign was unanimously dismissed by the bipartisan Iowa Senate Ethics Committee.
The Turek campaign is worried the $10 million that Chuck Schumer’s dark money network is spending to try and buy Josh the Senate nomination won’t be enough.

Craziest thing about Dems spending $9 million in a primary where both guys are reliable Dem votes isn't just that they are trying to beat Wahls; they're trying to eviscerate him. A bright young star for the party, and they're trying to kneecap his political future. Who does that?

Look. I support Zach Wahls. So you can take what I’m about to say as biased. I suppose it is somewhat. I don’t know Josh Turek. I assume he’s a very solid dude. I have friends I like who support him. But spending $9m in a primary to make the argument that one candidate is more electable in a general than the other makes very little sense unless you’re trying to secure a majority of votes for Democratic leader. Because you’d never do this to secure a Democratic majority.
