As a #Frontend #developer myself, I have recently started learning #uidesign to create my own designs. Looking for some good resource to learn how to create great ui designs! Would love to compile a list of go-to resources :)

Been wanting to get more people’s experiences on @syntaxfm but never quite liked most interview podcasts as its the same people promoting the same stuff. We’re spitballing ideas for a “talking to someone who...” series Honest thoughts? Ideas for someone who___ 👇🏻 ideas

@kwuchu @ka11away I have mine on the other side of the bedroom so I have to stand up to turn it off. Had it beside my bed before and would hit snooze repeatedly, that doesn’t happen anymore.

Ever since I put an alarm clock in a separate room, I've been getting out of bed way easier. Life hacks~

Is Initiative Q a pyramid or MLM scheme? No. Pyramid schemes collect money from new members and distribute it to earlier members. In contrast, joining initiative Q is completely free. So, clearly, there is no money to hand up the “pyramid” to earlier members.

Starting today, Initiative Q members whose time limit has passed but have unused invites can invite friends without reserving Qs. Those who use all of their invites become Initiative Q Evangelists - they can then invite more friends and reserve more Qs.

OMG. You can shift click tabs in Chrome to select many tabs at once, and drag them out into a new window. I'm sure this has existed forever. But I discovered it today. And it's great. Thank you @googlechrome

🔥 When you want to debug an implicit return in @reactjs and when your debugging is console logging stuff 😅 instead of changing it to an explicit return with a console.log above use console.log() || () - definitely saving myself a ton of time, thank you @syntaxfm @wesbos

The 2018 New Coder Survey is live. We're building a massive public dataset about people who are learning to code. 3,712 responses so far. If you've been coding for less than 5 years, you should take 5 minutes and fill this out. Do it for science! fcc.im/2018-new-coder…

@acdlite I’m maybe five personal projects deep into learning react. I feel like I already do this after I write a component and feel like it’s garbage. Delete it and restart instead of trying to refactor.

When I’m working on an interesting programming task, my number one trick is to delete the whole thing and start over. Eventually I arrive at a version I’m reluctant to throw out. That’s when I know it’s good enough to start iterating.

@I3ekka @NerdyToddGerdy I agree with this. Demonstrate knowledge of its existence, talk about what you know of it. Show that you’re excited to learn.
