If you are in the middle lane passing traffic on the inside lane and doing legal speeds, can you not maintain that lane and speed even if you have driver in the outside lane? If you undertake take I don’t see that as dangerous

@_GoodyBCampbell They cause the dangerous drivers who undertake because of queuing traffic in the outside lane caused by lane hogging and not moving over. It’s worrying you think this is acceptable driving standards. If you do this is our county you’ll get a ticket.

200 miles from dawn, then on feet all day judging Festival of the Unexceptional, then 200 miles home. Barely noticed it. What a big, beautiful, brilliant beast this current Range Rover is.

@au_tom_otive @CABowring @Andrew_Frankel I’m still young so bladder works! Nothing PHEV but for long distance the diesel is better. Once you use up the PHEV battery you just have heavy car with worse fuel consumption. Fine if most journeys short but for us it wouldn’t work. Have the Taycan for more local work.

Happily done Surrey to Amsterdam in mine with no anxiety at all, and with 300-400 mile ranges now, you could be looking at a single 30ish minute stop to cover 600+ miles. Just a confidence and experience thing, I guess.

@AutoPap Disagree with that. The run down was organised by Goodwood. It’s a shame was running late but no one in the run thinks they are better than anyone else just because their car is worth more. Do remember this is a huge event with amazing cars, it’s also free.

Less grip, less spring rate, better ride, much more fun. These cars are looked upon as gimmicks, but when you dig deep there are proper lessons to be learned from these two. Dakar is fabulous, Sterrato possibly the best Lamborghini I’ve driven.

Final note. The owner of this replica does of course own the real car too, and I've got no problem with replicas racing at Goodwood (though let's not forget that the Duke of Richmond said "We don't allow replicas at Goodwood"). If the replicas are racing, why not just say that?

Insured, paid for the tracker, bought the silly numberplate… it’s nearly collection time! Pictures taken last week when it landed from Reading and I couldn’t resist a sneak peak. The spec has been described as un-Dakar but I don’t care as it’s uber-Burge! 😂
