High quality bread just isn't as ubiquitous in the US as it is in Europe. Mostly that is about demand. Middle-class and working class Europeans insist on it to a degree Americans simply don't. I cannot describe how much I love seeing the American flag on the side of the rocket. Have ever since I was a kid. When I was five, I had an Apollo 11 lunchbox that I got at the Kennedy Space Center on vacation in 1988.

@TheHerdsHeadset I don’t agree the program was healthy at all. We had a 12 win season the year before we got here and a 13 win season our second in the SBC.

SBC basketball is flat out awful. It’s very disheartening to know that we came into this Confrence with a very healthy basketball program that was primed and ready for success. And 5 years later we’ve yet to win a Confrence championship and have underachieved at every corner. What needs to change?

@LanceMcAlister There is a positive correlation between spending and winning. You can certainly point to exceptions, but you can’t say it doesn’t matter. No other American sport that I’m aware of has the discrepancy between the haves and have nots that baseball does.

and clearly spending is not the be all, end all answer. See Mets. See Brewers. But the other sports are viewed as the smartest teams at scouting, drafting, developing, trading are the winners.
