Just spotted @SimonforStroud out campaigning; a local GP for 30 years, he pioneered social prescribing, using the arts to improve people’s health. A far better candidate to help Stroud than the current parachuted Tory. Go Simon 🙌👏👏👏👏

Hey chums. If any of you have #Mastodon accounts please add your handle to your bio here. If you do anyone who follows you here will be able to find you over there. See you on the other side.

@simondbarnes Dunno. Doesn't seem impossible. I've pretty much stopped looking at this account already though. Mastodon is just a much more pleasant space. In comparison it seems pretty grim here.

My family has learnt the hard way - the only way to get through Monopoly is to let my sister win. God help us if we don't. But of course we have to tatfully lose. Can't make it too obvious that that is the plan

Most vanity memoirs exist because their author has failed to understand that “you’ve had such an interesting life; you should write about it” means “shut the fuck up; it’s a shit story and we’ve heard it a hundred times”

I’m humbled by the extraordinary courage and commitment it takes to enter a supermarket and pour milk on the floor with scant regard for one’s own safety. Heroes.

Hey @monzo may I please have access to my bank account? I know you need the security theatre - but surely my claim to my own cash should trump yours, right?
