@Effiedeans Air source heat pumps just not cost effective in Scotland. Ground source way to go but cost is prohibitive. Hydrogen boilers is the suitable alternative.

I'd be delighted to replace my gas boiler, but Scotland is cold & wet & windy & I don't believe paying £15,000 for a heat pump that is expensive to run & leaves the house colder is a good choice. The Scottish Greens need to provide a realistic alternative before being dictatorial
