Violent antisemitism has increased by nearly 500% in direct correlation with the absurd charge that Israel is committing genocide, a charge that doesn’t comport with the legal or historical definition and parrots the propaganda of a terrorist Islamist group that actually calls for the death of all Jews. Speech is free but libels can be dangerous.

@StateRepHong The IHRA definition criminalizes criticism of Israel. For example comparing Israel to Nazi Germany (both have carried out genocides) falls within that definition and is forbidden. This needs to be challenged in the courts.

I am disappointed that Gov. Evers has signed into law a controversial definition of antisemitism that will compromise free speech across the state and academic freedom at our universities. AB446/SB445 will likely make criticism of the state of Israel a discriminatory offense.

This is an odd claim: the Senator has been “fighting”” to fund TSA. Wonder what the AFGA union reps for the TSA workers think? “Your people don’t get paid until we make sure US immigration laws go unenforced.” GOP offered compromise to reign in and improve ICE tactics, but that wasn’t what the Dems wanted.

This is what I’ve been fighting for: fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard while giving Republicans time to meet Americans’ demands for basic reforms to ICE and Border Patrol. I’m glad Republicans came to their senses, but it’s time to rein in the chaos and lawlessness of ICE.

Per WSJ: “This week, Senate Republicans offered to fund all of DHS except for the unit of Immigration and Customs Enforcement that carries out arrests and deportations. Senate Democrats on Wednesday pressed to add more restrictions on immigration and border-patrol agents as a condition of funding DHS.”

The senator’s post is indicative of her knowing it is the Dems who are holding up DHS funding. This is classic deflection. Everyone knows what they are doing. GOP House passed the DHS appropriations bill, Dems held it up in Senate because they want to ex post facto defund ICE, and TSA workers go unpaid. Disgraceful.

Senator Baldwin is not a serious person. But she knows how to politically posture. She also knows it is not “illegal” for the Commander in Chief to take military action. She will get a vote to block funding under the War Powers Resolution. Until then, stop the campaigning. The Islamic Republic is a clear and present danger to our national security, the JCPOA was just a piece of paper that these terrorists laugh at, and finally a President is doing something about it.

The President just ordered 3,000 ground troops to be deployed to the Middle East. These are Americans’ sons and daughters who are at risk now because of this illegal war. Each day, we are getting closer to boots on the ground in Iran, and I’m doing everything I can to stop it.

Alex, it was understood by many that Trump would wind up the war in a short time and declare victory. This would be in keeping with his promises of no endless war, but also Iran will never be allowed to have nuclear weapons. The program is underground so bury it in rubble and contain through air dominance. No JCPOA. The only thing joint and comprehensive is US Israel military cooperation and ready for future action.

Last night Iran fired several 4,000 km range ICBM’s which, 4 weeks ago, they claimed not to have. They can hit Europe. Just maybe they were preparing a little surprise for USA. That’s why you don’t wait for a threat to be “imminent”.

Wrong. This is a war of necessity. 5 decades and multiple US Presidents inaction leave no good choices to stop an Islamist Nazi regime from acquiring and using nuclear weapons. JCPOA? Pay attention to Lebanon. Trump and Netanyahu started a regional war in the Middle East, creating a humanitarian disaster. And now, the Israeli army has killed over 1,000 people in Lebanon—about 20% of them are kids. Congress should not bankroll this escalating war of choice.
