Just got this text from my Moscow mobile operator: “During preparations for and the holding of holiday events from 5-9 May temporary restrictions to mobile internet and text messaging are possible in Moscow and Moscow region. This may cause difficulties with cashless payments, use of ATMs and GPS services.”

Russia has announced a May 9 parade in Moscow without military equipment. If that happens, it will be the first time in many, many years. They cannot afford military equipment – and they fear drones may buzz over Red Square.
This is telling. It shows they are not strong now. So we must keep the pressure, by sanctions, on them. Please oppose any ideas to ease sanctions – this is important. And thank you also to those who are fighting against Russia’s shadow oil fleet.

Another buyer of grain stolen by russians from Ukraine. This time — Turkey.
LEONID PESTRIKOV (IMO: 9922122), between 22–28.04.2026, loaded 7,602.26 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol and then arrived at the port of Samsun.
The documents were issued in the russian port of Temryuk, where the vessel reportedly stopped to “legalize” the cargo.
These are falsified documents — the loading actually took place in occupied Mariupol.

A tediously inevitable pile of flytipping on this country lane in our town. Note the broken sign - flytipping means prosecution! Reality only a handful are caught & fined. Council must fund its own legal costs, so the cost outweighs the cost of cleaning up it seems

Karma seems to be hitting russia hard 🔥
In the Tomsk region, several villages were devastated as fires went out of control because of the wind. Yesterday 16 homes burned down in Novoilinka - an entire street reduced to ashes ☠️
The fire started on May 2 and spread across about 2,500 square meters.
Other villages like Fedoraevka, Monastyrka, Zharkovka, and Gusevo aren't spared either 🔥
While they bomb our cities and erase our villages in Ukraine look at what's happening to theirs 😈
