Do you think one reason youth arm injuries are higher than ever is because the amount of games youth players now play is a lot more than 25 years ago? Also, do you think it's healthy on the arm for youth players to play 5-6 games in a weekend?

@MarkBonilla9 If you play for the rigth organization it will not be an issue. Organization that manage workload(pitch count) for the year,will know exactly how many pitches they have left. Pitchers you should be tracking your high school season and travel season.

This is the difficult maybe even controversial time of year for travel ball. Why? Pitchers have been throwing since January to get ready for their Spring season. Now will play Fall ball, for many into late October. Two months off, then get ready for HS again…thread

Unless you are at an event where the tournament is paying a few guys to be there, the old school of going to games and looking for players are gone. Let's see what happens once collegiate leagues end season.

At a tournament this morning to watch some games notice after about 30 minutes that I’m the only college coach in the complex… @nextlevelbb @RealMattyBo 4 fields, 8 teams….1 College Coach Either I’m at the wrong event (I am not at the wrong event, I come to see players 👊🏻) or there is a massive shift going on in the travel ball industry? 5 years ago I could not go to a game without tripping over 6-8 college coaches per field… Which do you think it is?

@joakes46 At some point, teams that care about pitch counts should just attend tournaments that follow pitch smart rules.. all tournament companies should implement pitch smart rules...

Watched a 9U pitcher today at my son’s championship game on the other team throw 105 pitches and he threw 25 the day before. What a joke! What are we doing? Congrats you won a 9U Championship. Just flat out sad.
