🚨 BREAKING: Redistricting in South Carolina is officially DEAD after RINOs sided with Democrats for a key cloture vote, 20-24 "This was a SETUP," @RepAdamMorgan said This is why RINOs CAN NEVER BE TRUSTED—no matter WHAT they say. Another reason people like Cornyn MUST GO. RINOs said they can no longer move forward with redistricting because early voting started today. They KNEW it was starting today, but dragged their feet. They could've finished redistricting LAST WEEK. NEVER TRUST A RINO! They NEVER change.

The level of grief that I've faced within the last few years has changed me entirely and refined me in ways I could have never imagined. It felt as if I collapsed and turned to dust. Rising up out of that since has been profoundly freeing and has given me a depth of perspective I could never have reached otherwise

@AngelParn @tickerBITCOINbb @pmarca Yes. Even after the world tried to fuck Germany over a second time, it still remained a production and engineering powerhouse... What broke it in the end, was leftist ideologies... 💀

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin Yes. A tyrant rules against the wishes of the people. A dictator is just someone without checks and balances.

@TheHummingVoid @curtis_yarvin That’s why Yarvin ideas are not working. They would only benefit carnivores in the society of herbivores if you allow me such metaphore. Most of citizens would suffer. Heavily. And they’d emigrate as much as they can.

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin My understanding is that Yarvin wouldn't argue for any kind of egalitarianism, so citizens feeling the arrangement to be unfair is not much of an argument. No such thing as a closed syndicate w/respect to the market.

@radmcon @curtis_yarvin You can learn *something* from history, you know why? Because human nature hasn’t changed much during last 1000 or 2000 years. And many things that seem new are actually repetitions. Wouldn’t be wise to ignore it.

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin No, we shouldn't, because you can't learn "from history". It is all just hindsight with no relevance to the situation you're actually in. You can learn something about people's behaviour and the conditio humana, though.

@TheHummingVoid @curtis_yarvin In some sense these oligarchs check his power, yes. But they can be easily bribed and controlled as well. It’s a closed syndicate. If tyrant is not naive nor “rookie” he can control his circle for tens of years. And citizens feel the society is not fair. They feel “lack of air”.

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin Well yeah, in that instance you see a sovereign welded to the market through friendly oligarchs, thus checking his power.

@TheHummingVoid @curtis_yarvin But how? Market and economy is usually put to tyrant’s and his friends’ service. Look who’s got rich in Putin’s circle? Surprise: it’s Putin’s circle. They own production, banks, etc and…. media! Same happened in Orban’s Hungary (luckily they get rid of him). It’s a pattern.

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin I think Yarvin would argue that the market and it's exponents are the counter-force to an otherwise unchecked sovereign.

@radmcon @curtis_yarvin Japan until 1945 was genocidal power, Pinochet did awful things to his people etc. What is good in these regimes? We should learn from history not remake these mistakes again and again.

@TheHummingVoid @curtis_yarvin Yes but even Yarvin, as he philosophises, must have answers to counterarguments why tyranny is dangerous (and the monarchy mostly has been tyranny in past, who should know it more than American philosopher?)

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin Sure, I'm just saying that your question appears to be entirely rhetorical, given you know who Yarvin is

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin That's not tyranny. That's a dictatorship. And even then the UK parliament doesn't have checks and balances.

@radmcon @curtis_yarvin But tyranny tends to lead to destruction. 1933-45 Germany and 2000-26 Russia are good examples

@AngelParn @curtis_yarvin We should have eight year tyranny followed by 8 years demcleptocracy followed by eight years monarchy and eight years oligarchy split in four 2y-parts for different oligarchies. That would at least take out the idiocracy by the people for the people that leads to kakistocracy.
