I learned to tell time with an analog clock before I went to kindergarten. And because my sweet mom saus deathly afraid of being late, every clock in our house was set 20 minutes ahead. So I also learned subtraction before I went to kindergarten, as part of learning to tell time.

Oh I understand, I just don’t happen to agree. These “laws” you speak of are subject to flexibility by supervisors. Again, it’s called leadership. When I taught at the vet school at UCDavis, all the dogs the students learned to do spay/neuters on had to be legally euthanized afterwards. The administrators looked at that and easily got it changed that students could adopt them. It’s not rocket science. This LA Rescue system sucks. Despite the best efforts of you Rescuers, this system is killing tens of thousands of dogs every year (they won’t even publish the exact number). We just asked to adopt a mom and 7 puppies who were past their kill deadline. We don’t want any money, happy to pay fees. Again, not rocket science. Funny, we’d think you’d try and help us not stand and block us to support a flawed status quo.

Right back at you. If you wanted to help, you’d let us adopt them. We are actually here and ready. We will do everything, pay for evetything, charge nothing. Or do you have a line waiting to foster? Tell me honestly, what will an adopter be charged to take a puppy from a “rescuer”?

I am not on any weight loss drugs. I have been watching cooking shows again, because I am not ok. O dear lord. So many pharma commercials. It's just about sickening. I am a bit salty because I am mostly out of commission . I pushed through yesterday and am paying today. Tomorrow should be better. 😕 I am definitely 💯 over being in pain. I am pretty salty and over it.

@PAnnicchino Well, this is a big country. We do not all eat the same way. 330 million people in a huge country. You might be surprised at the number of people who make their own bread, their own Italian gravy, their own salsa, etc.

As an Italian, watching what Americans eat daily is a wild psychological experience. Every single label is a jump scare. Why is there high-fructose corn syrup in the bread? Why is the pasta sauce sweet? You think you’re buying a normal snack, and it turns out to have the sugar content of a birthday cake.

God is good! I ask that you all pray for me. I met the franchise owner today as well as the District Manager. They interviewed me on the spot for a huge promotion! I mean yuge! My luck isn't the best, so I am graciously and thankfully giving this opportunity to the good Lord. He's better than luck. He's where the love is. I'm just grateful for chance. Today we had a furniture move out. All this stuff was thrown away by the customer. You all know me, I don’t throw away things that can be used by the leas fortunate. All of this, queen bed and frame, dresser, kitchen table and chairs, end tables, couch and recliners are going to a new home tomorrow for a lady who’s been sleeping on sleeping bags in her house she just moved into. She was a victim of abuse, had to get out quick and has nothing. Now she does 😊
