@Genesis59883222 @RuslanKD It does not. It says by Faith he obeyed. Saint James says by his works he was justified. They go together and cannot be separated. You guys present such a false dichotomy between the two. You can’t separate them.

@Anikatsuki1 @RuslanKD It literally says in Hebrews that Abraham was justified the moment he trusted the promises of God, this was prior to his works

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9

@Anikatsuki1 @thescriptures1 @ThyPaddyDaddy James never taught faith is through works. He taught Faight without works is dead. In other words Faith produces works, it’s not the other way around. Works does not produce Faith. That’s why Paul in Ephesians clearly says ‘NOT BY WORKS, so that no one can boast’.

@_mikec10 @thescriptures1 @ThyPaddyDaddy It’s not a good example. You’re taken an exception to the rule to make the rule. The thief on the cross was before baptism was instituted as normative in the book of acts. This is a bad argument, it always has been, and has been dealt with very many times.

@Anikatsuki1 @thescriptures1 @ThyPaddyDaddy The thief on the cross is a perfect example that it’s is faith that makes you right before God because he did not a have a chance to display works. Muslims have to earn their salvation through works,us believers in Christ do not earn salvation by works. Faith first and then works

@hendersalderon @RuslanKD Also just pointing out, it doesn’t LITERALLY say anything about Abraham’s faith in this verse 😂

@Anikatsuki1 @RuslanKD Have any of you ever actually owned a Bible? Looked at one? It literally says in black and white Abraham was justified by faith.

@hendersalderon @RuslanKD And like all Prots you just completely take Roman’s out of context entirely. Paul is talking about works of the Law. Read the end of chapter 3.

@ThyPaddyDaddy Huh? Justification is by faith alone. You are heaven bound the moment you believe. Heavenly rewards will be dispensed on the basis of good works. Ultimately the works themselves are Gods gift to us as well. Protestants always make that distinction.

@needGod_net @economic_eth Me and my entire family were baptized for free in 2025. You’re also leaving out context on purpose Ryan. You’re being purposefully deceitful. That’s sinful.

@economic_eth “A Baptismal service fee of $500.00 is required” So if someone asks “How did I get saved?” Their answer would have to be: “I was required to pay $500 so I could get baptized”

@RogueCenturion Me and my entire family were baptized last Holy Saturday into the Holy Orthodox Church and didn’t pay a dime. This is a suggested donation and it’s a stupid argument. It’s been shown to be a false narrative by you guys 😂

This is literally indefensible, by the way. Also, Lutheran Churches will baptize you for free. We don’t charge for God’s grace, as it is His to give. And not ours to profit off of.

@Anikatsuki1 @jk_fuerte @sanderson1611 The passage doesn’t say what time this is. Again, revelations is not in order. There are no people in heaven, book full of symbols says there’s a bowl full of prayers, cmon now. There just so happens to be 24 elders, who are they? We don’t know, are they real, we don’t know

@Anikatsuki1 @jk_fuerte @sanderson1611 1 Peter 3:19 is about Jesus preaching to demons, not sure how that correlates to what we’re talking about. Saints deliver prayers to God every day, the elders are saints just like us. Were not sure if its symbolic, after resurrection etc. but bible is clear, the dead know nothing
