@Sa_Les_Ski I flew out of DCA at 5:20pm yesterday and noticed choppers.

I took this video 6 days ago leaving Reagan International Airport and thought it was kind of crazy seeing these choppers right next to us. I wonder if it was something like this that caused the collision tonight.

Good morning. Air quality this morning in DC area is WORSE than yesterday, with widespread CODE RED and CODE PURPLE (unhealthy for all) and even CODE MAROON (hazardous) toward Baltimore. Limit/reduce time outside, avoid strenuous exercise and/or wear masks.

Came back to add a pic of these old postcards of Odessa I was given when we left in ‘94. The envelope says “To my dear Sonechka, to remember your home city. Keep these postcards. Look at them & remember your days lived in Odessa-mama.” That’s what ppl from Odessa call our city💗

@allyschweitzer Canal Road just south of Chain Bridge scares me the most. If you cross to DC during afternoon rush, and start heading south, suddenly cars can come northbound very fast and if you’re in the wrong lane, you’re stuck. It’s scary there.
