It appears that a Polymarket account called "Magamyman" made $515,000 in a single day betting on last night's U.S. strike on Iran, with the first trade placed 71 minutes before the news broke publicly. When this person bought in, the market had this at a 17% probability. They turned roughly $87,000 into over half a million dollars overnight. Reminder that Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket's advisory board and his firm invested double-digit millions into the platform last year. The DOJ and CFTC both had active investigations into Polymarket that were dropped after Trump took office. Prediction markets cannot be a vehicle for profiting off advance knowledge of military action. We need answers, transparency, and oversight.

The SAVE America Act is the most aggressive, un-American voter suppression bill in our nation’s history. It could choke our democracy for decades. If this bill passes, you’ll need either a birth certificate or passport to vote in November.   Since marriage certificates aren’t accepted as a form of identification, ~69 million married women who took their husband’s last name won’t be able to vote.   Plus, an estimated 21 million Americans don’t have a passport or a copy of their birth certificate.   The bill also requires states to purge voter registrations. Election officials can face strict criminal penalties if they register anyone whose documents the Trump regime says aren’t adequate proof of identity.   Republicans are so sure they’ll lose in November without this legislation that they’re considering changing or removing the Senate filibuster to get it done.   Without the filibuster’s 60-vote threshold, the bill will pass. Springsteen has proven to be one of Trump's most formidable and outspoken foes. He recognizes that this president has betrayed the working class that populate so many of his hit songs and he despises the relentless attacks on our democracy.
