@IncisiveScalpel Don't worry, doctor. All the opposition parties will be wiped out by 2029 by the Big Bosses.
These are small fry tossing about in the frying pan. So "bear" with them for another 2/3 years.

@anusharavi10 BSY was liberally given one month to prove his majority. The Supreme Court had to intervene and reduce the lengthy grace period to 15 days. Different yardsticks for different people. 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

2018 Karnataka: Broken mandate with BJP as single largest party.
Despite Congress & JDS submitting signatures of 115 MLAs, then Governor Vajubhai Vala had invited BS Yediyurappa to form govt with just 105 MLAs - 7 short of majority.
BSY resigned before the floor test but the Governor invited him to form the govt & prove majority on the floor of the house.
Different rules in Tamil Nadu when it's not the BJP/NDA that's the single largest party.

@Ananth_IRAS Even the 1st finance minister of India, R.K.Shunmigam Chetty belonged to the justice party, a bitter critic of the congress. Still Gandhiji prevailed upon Nehru to choose him to be the fin minister. Those were the days of enlightenment, where the nation's interests were paramount

India’s first Railway Minister was not a mass leader or a freedom fighter. He was an economist who believed in building systems with clarity and discipline.
Challiyal John Matthai took charge of India’s railways after independence and later became the country’s finance minister.
Born in 1886 in Kozhikode, Mr. Matthai followed a strong academic path. He studied economics at Madras Christian College and law at Madras Law College and later at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Balliol College, Oxford.
After returning to India in 1918, he began his career as an officer on special duty in the cooperative department of the Madras government. During the freedom movement, he focused more on administration and academics than active politics, a path that later contributed to nation-building.
He taught economics, worked closely with the government, and became known for his sharp understanding of finance. His expertise earned him a director role at the Tata Group. He was also elected to the Constituent Assembly from the United Provinces, where he contributed to key debates on taxation and supported industrial development.
Mr. Matthai also helped shape the Bombay Plan, a major economic vision for India. As railway minister, he handled a critical sector at a crucial time. In 1948, he became finance minister and presented two union budgets.
But he stood by his principles. The nation saw his resignation in protest against the growing powers of the Planning Commission.
Later, he chaired the State Bank of India and served as vice chancellor of the University of Mumbai and the University of Kerala. He was also a noted writer, with works including Village Government in British India.
In 1959, Mr. Matthai was awarded the Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to the country. His journey shows how ideas and integrity can shape a nation.

Delhi is the only city in India I as a fully grown huge adult male felt unsafe, it feels eerie after sun set.
Now imagine the same situation for a woman.
Saurabh Bharadwaj@Saurabh_MLAgk
While it’s been 12 years that Delhi Police is under Modi Govt, Delhi is most unsafe city for women. Shame that BJP talks about women empowerment
English

@TruthNo_7 @muthuhere3 The opposition party is there to keep the ruling party on its toes, and not to comfort them with sweet lullabies.
If both collaborate that'll sound the death knell of democracy.
So it's always in people's interest that there's atleast some amount of love is lost between them.
English

@muthuhere3 Why should DMK support Vijay when he's been viscously and constantly heckling the party and their leader Stalin? Vijay has all other bitty parties to go and beg for support. Let him do that.
Meanwhile rest can .....

@muthuhere3 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂
The opposition party is expected to make life difficult for the ruling party, not to keep them in comfort.
If both collaborate that'll be the end of democracy(But they do have limited deals, that's why many scams go unpunished)
English

@reclaimchennai It's all due to Nehru. And later "due" to AAP & Kejriwal.
