Christ commands to love God and your neighbors. He said to forgive. Believers can obey his commandments because he empowers them to.

We keep the commandments because we trust in God’s promises. If you don’t you’re going to be judged by your deeds. Literally relying on your own works. Ironic how Christians spin it around and tell you you’re relying on your works when you keep His commands.

Curious Are tattoos permitted for Christians? You know my take , I don’t care andi see it as a non issue… but I do see a lot of people using Leviticus out of context and saying thy aren’t permitted. Is it wise? FOR ME no it wasn’t (it also isn’t sin to my conscience) but I went to an extreme , men can wear them better in my opinion, and even look good with them. I honestly think this is a Christian liberty issue. I could think of 10 verses more Appropriate than Leviticus if you wanted to say it’s not permitted (I don’t agree) but I would see where you’re coming from. In closing , young ladies… just don’t. Trust me. A few are fine but when you’re 40+ and can’t cover them on your arms, hands, neck, legs, feet .. anywhere … it kind of makes you feel embarrassed at times. Just don’t for your own sake. But if you do , whatever you’re gonna die anyhow 🤣
