I'm a Libertarian, former Dem voter, husband, and father of 3. I enjoy civil debate with most. Things HAVE to change to avoid #CivilWar2. That's the truth!

@AmandiOnAir I can guarantee that you can't guarantee ANY of those things... But guess what?? I can guarantee it doesn't matter cuz neither of them are president and never really had a chance to win.

I can’t guarantee much, but I can guarantee this. If Kamala Harris — or Joe Biden, for that matter — was President today, I guarantee we would not be at war with Iran, our economy would be much stronger, the US would be more respected & the world would be safer and more peaceful.

@SenatorWarnock It's funny when y'all posture like this... This is a shutdown of YOUR making. The airport delays are due to @THEDEMOCRATS playing politics. Why won't you guys compromise and reopen things? Defunding ICE is that important to you guys? Welp..... Then own this and stop blaming @GOP.

I just tried to fast track a bill to pay TSA workers NOW. Sadly, Republicans in DC keep blocking it. We all agree that TSA should be paid so what is the hold up? This is insanity.

Y'all... I've NEVER seen Hartsfield Jackson this bad. This is what security looks like this morning (Friday). We've talked to people that got to the airport at 3am that missed their 6am flight. @ATLNewsFirst @GAFollowers

@stelzner_n1150 This isn’t 2008. Not even close. Back then you had subprime lending, adjustable rate resets, and forced selling everywhere. Today you have locked in 3% mortgages and tight supply. More inventory doesn’t equal 60% crashes. That’s not analysis. That’s fantasy. Chicken little.

For clarification the markets that have built the most inventory in the last 5 years are going to get crushed more than others. That's why I have states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona down so much. This also happened in 08. Rinse and repeat.

I think the housing market will depreciate 40% in the next four years. The housing market correction will affect markets differently. Here is what I forecast for individual cities. LA - down 10% Seattle - down 8% Bay Area - down 7% Las Vegas - down 60% Phoenix - down 45% Denver - down 30% Dallas - down 40% Austin - down 50% Kansas City - down 10% Twin Cities - down 12% Chicago - down 15% Detroit - down 20% Cleveland - down 10% New York City - down 8% Boston - down 5% DMV - down 10% Nashville - down 25% Atlanta - down 20% Charlotte - down 15% Tampa - down 60% Jacksonville - down 65% Miami - down 20% The snowbird and transient cities are going to get hit the hardest in the housing correction. The coastal and flyover areas will be the most stable.

@stelzner_n1150 This might be the wildest housing take I’ve seen in a while. 40 to 60 percent drops don’t happen without a financial crisis. You’re basically predicting something worse than 2008… but with none of the same conditions. I’ll bet any amount you want you’re wrong.

The phrase "nobody wants to work anymore" is hilarious... Like, no dude, people don't want to: - Commute 2 hours daily - Miss their kids growing up - Trade their entire life for rent - Get laid off with zero warnings - Work 50 hours for 40 hours pay Fix the system. not the workers.

There are people in America who feel safer sleeping in a car than living in the apartment they could barely afford. Sit with that. That should shame this entire country.

@cturnbull1968 Why do Democrats want to make it so easy to cheat? And I don't want to hear any bullshit about nobody cheating and no fraud ever happening. So what's the real reason? Are you afraid you'll lose votes?

Why do Republicans want to make it so difficult to vote? And I don’t want to hear any bullshit about illegal aliens voting because it’s less than a 100 incidents in 25 years. So what’s the real reason? What are they scared of?

Just left the Senate chamber after another long day and speaking for the last 90 minutes At the end of the second full day of debate, I still haven’t heard Senate Democrats make even a single persuasive argument against the SAVE America Act I have, however, heard a lot of lies We’re winning We can’t stop debating this until we’ve won If we keep this up, we will win

@ninaturner You’re blaming one side while describing a situation where neither side is willing to move. That’s not how logic works. A shutdown over ‘no compromise’ is a stalemate, not a one-party decision. Sounds like Democrats refuse to compromise on ICE. So it's on THEM. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@krassenstein Another failed prognostication by you @krassenstein... Just like a year ago when you proclaimed that we'd be in a deep recession by September. You might have the worst track record of predicting things I've ever seen. Do you ever get tired of letting the severe TDS run your life?

@crazyunclelou If we just enslave a TON of people and steal whatever land is necessary, we could do it... Oh yeah, I forgot about suspending all environmental regulations also. I'm sure you're for it til you realize what it would REALLY take is a lot more than money.

Quit arguing that billionaires "create jobs." That's BS. Workers create the wealth billionaires take. Period. Nobody is doing you a favor by giving you a wage that is 10% of the wealth you generate. That is called getting robbed. Then you go home and write a rent check that gives someone 1/3 to 1/2 of what you have left. And quite possibly to another billionaire who owns your apartment building. This shit is a con. We need better distribution of the created wealth. Bottom heavy distro.

@LucaGuadagnegro @_celia_bedelia_ Has nothing to do with school spending. Private schools pay teachers even less yet graduate FAR better students. It has to do with shitty teachers in PUBLIC schools that spend too much on compliance and administration. Besides, if I had 80 days off a year, I'd need a 2nd job too.

@_celia_bedelia_ should be the most obvious indicator of the U.S. government systemically divesting from this generation of youth in america. we have the resources to nurture the most educated and innovative youth in the world, but they want the public school kids dumb while they fund war.

As yet another preemptive war is begun in the Middle East, John Quincy Adam’s words of wisdom still ring true: “Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.” Like most Americans I have sympathy for the plight of the Iranian people and all subjected people around the globe, from North Korea to Tibet. But as Adam’s wrote, America:  “goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.” The Constitution conferred the power to declare or initiate war to Congress for a reason, to make war less likely.   Madison wrote that “the Executive Branch is the branch most prone to war, therefore, the Constitution, with studied care, delegated the war power to the legislature.” As with all war, my first and purest instinct is wish Americans soldiers safety and success in their mission.   But my oath of office is to the Constitution, so with studied care, I must oppose another Presidential war.
