On modern monetary theory and loss of the middle class Part 1: Humans are on the whole bright and innovative. We continuously get better at producing things of value. Each year, year-over-year, we can produce ever more with a human labor hour. In other words, we get more efficient over time (efficiency gains). So, if we are able to produce more with each hour, why do the prices keep going up?

Oh, are we pretending that 2020 wasn't a straight-up stolen election? It is worth noting that libertarians are split on borders. Without the party the open border leftists would vote democrat. The closed border right is best represented by the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire and does work with the Republicans.

@JohnIVSobieski Creative destruction will inherently result in inefficient businesses dying off and new more relevant and/or efficient businesses taking over. To your point, wage differentials routinely result in business relocations. Unfavorable laws and unions also drive relocations.

I have heard arguments for why free trade is bad and makes your country poorer. I have never heard someone who holds these views to give a clear economics explanation as to why e.g. wage differentials between states/between cities vs. rural would not have an identical effect. Should New York City have have protectionism against goods made in Upstate New York? If not, why?

@Oranos8310 @travis4nh @YALiberty There are certainly pros and cons to each type of tax. What I like about property taxes is that they can't be hidden from the tax payer and they are more difficult to increase.

On April 4th, a likely mentally-ill African man was behaving erratically in a Market Basket parking lot. I exchanged words with him, encouraging him to leave both the parking lot and the beautiful state of New Hampshire entirely. For this, I was arrested. Neither of us came within physical reach of one another, and I expect the matter to be dropped by the city of Manchester. Additionally, I am exploring legal action against the city. This incident is yet another example of how our government treats mentally-ill and dangerous African men as saints, and how the police prevent decent men from maintaining order in American cities and towns. The footage of my arrest is below. As someone who loves New Hampshire and attempts to make our state look good, it embarrasses me that our police our this incompetent.
