Good. Independent Redistricting is the best kind of redistricting! Utah citizens know that the current gerrymander-to-the-bottom system we are seeing in every state with a trifecta does not lead to a healthy society!

@__C_M_R__ @lordpet8 I would be happy to help. The maps we created have some of the most competitive seats in the entire nation. 3/13 being within a percent or two and 5/13 being within a 5-point swing.

@lordpet8 That is definitely a huge concern, which makes crafting the right system a must before going forward with it. I personally think we should look to Michigan for inspiration, their citizens style commission seemed to work really well and produced some solid, competitive maps

In my opinion, this should absolutely be a priority for all the purple states. Wisconsin and North Carolina are prime examples of how gerrymandering can completely remove electoral competition, even if the state is competitive at-large. Independent Redistricting now!!

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire. It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs. Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ? Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries.
