Rallies were held at the Minnesota State Capitol and in Minneapolis, where funds were raised and support was mobilized to arm a militia. Somalian networks in Minneapolis raised money, misusing taxpayer-linked funds and engaging in fraud, to support militias to attack the Republic of Somaliland. Calls for “jihad” and the destruction of the only pro-U.S., pro-West, pro-Israel democratic partner in the Horn of Africa: the Republic of Somaliland. This effort received backing from local political figures and even a sitting member of Congress. Why?
