@schitcoin The average GDP per capita of the UK is less than that of the poorest state in the US, Mississippi.

EU: The fact that our European ‘partners’ and ‘allies’ routinely talk about us like this tells you everything you need to know about what they think about us. Finnish MEP Aura Salla wants to push the US tech companies out of the EU.

@euromaximal Some of the most stagnant and non dynamic economies are in Europe. Barely anything of consequence within the last 50 years. Coupled with 70 years of underfunding their militaries and outsourcing their air and maritime defenses, they could never compete against Russia.

Europe can be a superpower. It just needs to want to be one. 🇪🇺 The EU has the world's second largest economy. Its combined defence budget exceeds China's. It has 450 million citizens, a nuclear deterrent, a robust industry and deep, technical know-how. This is foundation for a global superpower. But for decades, Europe has outsourced its security to Washington, its energy to Moscow, and suppressed its strategic ambition. This has left it with gaps and dependencies in critical areas, from energy, to defense and capital markets. What remains is a simple question: does Europe want power, or does it want to be managed by those who do? We already have the hard assets exist, the population and the money. The baseline industry is already there. What is missing is the decision to use them, scale them, and fix our critical dependencies: - Reform European institutions and the electoral process so it is more transparent, more direct, less corrupt and less susceptible to blockage by internal dissidents; - Transform dozens of fragmented armies into a unified military machine, benefitting from vast, untapped economies of scale; - Invest in next-gen military weapon systems that strengthen current capabilities and fill the gaps left by the US, and expand the nuclear deterrent; - Achieve energy sovereignty and abundance by investing massively in nuclear, renewables and strategic fossil fuel reserves; - Finally form a unified capital markets, enabling capital, investments, and savings to flow freely across borders; - Strengthen its borders so that it stops being a domestic issue and weaponized by foreign powers. All of this can be done. All of Europe's problems can be fixed. We've done it before. It's not a resource problem. It is a question of political willingness. If that decision won't come from Brussels, it needs to come from Europeans who demand it by electing pan-Europeanist parties and politicians. We are closer to the true potential of the European Union than we have ever been. The question is whether Europe seizes it, or waits until the choice is made for it.

@SykesCharlie The delusion of a country that couldn’t even shoot down a Chinese spy balloon will be studied closely in the future.

@wahlstedt007 Europe has underfunded their armies for at least 70 years - it’s not catching up quantitatively or qualitatively anytime soon. When Denmark sent troops to Greenland as a show of force, they had to commercial. German troops have trained with broomsticks as machine guns.

Just shameful that the US is not sharing the burden in the greatest fight for freedom of our lifetimes. Canada is now a more consequential leader of the free world than the US. Hope this changes in the future.

Today, we announced $270 million of new military support to Ukraine. Ukraine’s fight is our fight. Their cause — freedom, democracy, sovereignty — is our cause. Good to see President @ZelenskyyUa today in Yerevan. 🇨🇦🇺🇦

Crazy how people cannot figure out the difference of becoming literally another state in the United States and losing our status as a country Versus Joining the EU for trade purposes and NOT being taken over by another country and losing our independence as a country.

@FalkTG If Europe had actually met their defense spend requirements over the past 70 years, the math would be a lot different. Are German soldiers still training with broomsticks because they won’t buy enough machine guns?

Why is the Royal Family issuing a formal announcement for Eugenie’s third pregnancy? As a non-working royal, this blurs the line between those who represent the institution and those who don’t. Clear boundaries protect the monarchy’s integrity - especially if future controversies arise.

@AntiTrumpCanada Canada is basically a country of people as poor as the US's poorest state whose identity is primarily derived from their hatred of America. Their most innovative products are Celine Dion and maple syrup. They have an army that would lose to the Rhode Island National Guard. LOL

When he dies, and it can’t happen soon enough, they’re probably gonna tell us a to “be respectful.” NOT A FUCKING CHANCE. I’m gonna be as respectful as he was towards Robert Mueller, Paul Pelosi & Rob Reiner, just to name a few. Fuck that piece of shit.

@Anti_woke_tech @RLHeinrichs Absolutely true, but Germany didn't even thought about problems using bases or airspace now. In the constitution its not allowed to send army outside Germany to fight in a war. Thats after WW2. They can help after, but its called 'never again a war from German soil'.

The U.S. is operating out of European bases. Operation Epic Fury is possible because of the bases and collaboration of Europeans. You do not have the war against Iran without close alliances with Europeans.
