Canadians are never going to actually support real procurement. Not even for being a NATO cog, let alone a sovereign defence. The serious shortcomings of the CAF (no surface to air inventory, essentially no self propelled anti-air, very underdeveloped EW, a lack of sufficient mechanised infrastructure, manpower shortages, almost no operational level airlift/sealift ability) are not very sexy and take years, huge ramp ups in spending and recruitment, and significant effort to fix.

Hey man, I’m all for paying the CAF more. Did you know they actually cut overseas allowance for CAF members? Also, where are the 12 subs you talk about? That procurement process began before Carney took office, and still is not complete… I just find it hilarious that people parade Carney around like he’s actually done anything. You guys eat the headlines up but never actually hold them accountable to tangible results.

It's a small thing, but revealing of the subversion of the Canadian government by anti-Canadian ideologues. The Canadian state bases its legitimacy upon the destruction of the country it occupies.

I found out recently that I was deceived by social activists in an elaborate scheme dating back to January. A production group with what I now know has a fake name and fake identities gave me a friendly interview about my book A Day with Sir John A, and about Sir John A Macdonald, back in Feb. They connected me with a fake company called Heritage Figures Canada with a fake website and "hired" me to perform consulting work for them. We had what I now know were fake meetings, fake documents, fake commercial shoot, fake prototype of a Sir John A collectible. Then in a second filmed interview last week, they turned on me, and it was revealed to have all been a setup in order to demonize Sir John A and smear me. It turns out this is a taxpayer-funded CBC and APTN project. There is so much more, I will make a video. They also deceived @FrancesWiddows1

It really doesn’t matter, it’s a political propaganda war either war. For the country to survive, the Indian victim narrative must be destroyed and every idol of it desecrated and forgotten. Otherwise, it’s always there, a pry hole in the door, to tear the country apart with on behalf of various hostile foreign interests. It is, and always has been, a direct threat to the legitimacy of the state.

I've had many personal interactions with Jordan over the years and have watched most all his lectures. I stand by my comments. I voluntarily left politics after 15 years for many reasons. One of which was that during COVID, it became obvious that the vast majority of Canadians have different values than me. I was no longer willing to spend time & effort in my senior years representing people who want to be coddled and victimized and prefer lies over truth.

Such can only imply necessarily that there is meaning to the word Canadian beyond holding a Canadian passport, though I sincerely doubt the highly skittish, profoundly cowardly brand of Tory you represent would even dare to think such without reflexively acting as your own minders.
