You have another AfD guy talk in the European Parliament about how France oppressed the German language in Alsace, causing another scandal in France. The French side on the other hand sees Germany as an untrustworthy French vassal and (perhaps rightfully?) the AfD as a huge threat to France and French interests and how they need to ally with Poland to contain Germany. It's not hard to see the old alliances forming again. One thing is certain: The liberals are 100% correct about the far right here. These lunatics WILL destroy Europe and ultimately lead us to another round of brother wars because without the EU there won't be a way to settle nationalist grievance politics. Bringing back nationalist politics over a civilisational vision of Europe would be the end of our continent and our culture, especially now when we're already weak.
