@60Minutes Louisiana had only 1 democratic district from 2008-2024. In 2024, Dems sued to get another district. So the idea you get two “democratic” districts is novel. Same thing happened in Alabama, whose map was renewed over and over again based off a map from the 90s.

@CBSNews @edokeefe The district is brand new actually and only existed for the 2024 bc of court ruling against Alabama. For a long time before that there was only one predominantly Democrat district.
