Futhermore, since solar power requires polysilicon, and China controls most of the world's supply, reliance on solar power would make us dependent on a hostile dictatorship that harvests organs from political prisoners. There's also the fact that the wind isn't always blowing and the sun isn't always shining, so power needs to be stored in batteries full of cobalt and lithium which comes from Chinese-owned mines in Africa worked by child slaves. The main reason Western politicians keep pushing for wind and solar is because they're being paid under the table by China to make us dependent on them so they can have endless funds to continue the Uyghur genocide.

Coal power produces over a hundred times more radioactive pollution than nuclear because coal contains trace radioactive minerals that go into the air when its burned. Nuclear power plants only put steam in the air, and whatever radioactive waste they produce is 100% contained. Ironically, if Germany hadn't shut down all of their nuclear power plants for entirely political reasons, they wouldn't now be dependent on coal (since wind and solar couldn't live up to their promises), and there would be much less radioactive pollution in their air.

It's only .3 μg of Am241, but it gave off 50x the radiation in gamma rays (it can't detect alpha) than what nuclear plant workers receive. There is a difference between giving off and absorbed dose but I thought it was interesting.
