New research claims human emissions are not driving atmospheric CO2. A paper by Dai Ato ran multiple linear regressions for 1959 to 2022, testing two predictors of the annual CO2 increase: sea surface temperature and human emissions. The result was clear: when the oceans warmed, CO2 levels rose almost exactly in step - about two to three parts per million for every one degree Celsius of warming. Adding human emissions to the model didn't change the outcome. Using only ocean temperature, the model reproduced global CO2 levels with near-perfect accuracy - a correlation of 0.995 and an error of just one to two ppm by 2022. The main factor governing the annual increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration is sea surface temperature rather than human emissions. Earlier studies have shown the same pattern. Temperature changes first, CO2 follows. If Ato is correct, cutting human emissions won't lower atmospheric CO2 because it's the oceans that set the pace.

Grace Hopper suggested teaching computers English, critics scoffed, insisting that machines "only do arithmetic." She built the world's first compiler in her spare time. She was right and the experts were wrong.. In the early 1950s, processing time on million-dollar machines like the UNIVAC I was treated as infinitely more valuable than the labor of the human programmers who operated them. At the time, programming was a brutal exercise in hardware manipulation. Programmers had to write instructions in pure machine code or octal notation, manually keeping track of where every variable was stored in the machine's memory. The job required a deep understanding of the computer's internal architecture and an immense tolerance for tedious, error-prone translation. Grace Hopper, a mathematician working on the UNIVAC, believed this manual translation was backwards. If computers were so good at repetitive tasks, she reasoned, they should be the ones translating human-readable instructions into machine code. In 1951, she proposed a "compiler"—a program that would take high-level mathematical symbols and automatically convert them into executable binary code. The computing establishment rejected the idea outright. Critics argued that computers were not built for symbolic manipulation, and even if they were, using precious machine cycles to compile code was a foolish waste of resources. After proving her compiler concept worked with the A-0 system, she didn't stop at mathematical symbols. She recognized that for computers to be truly useful in business and industry, non-mathematicians needed a way to program them. Her team developed FLOW-MATIC, the first programming language to use English keywords like "COMPARE," "ADD," and "TRANSFER." By demonstrating that software could be written in a language close to plain English, Hopper fundamentally changed the trajectory of computer science. Her work proved that writing software could be abstracted away from the physical hardware, shifting programming from an exercise in binary translation into a tool for broad logical problem-solving. This conceptual leap laid the direct foundation for COBOL, democratizing software development and setting the standard for almost every high-level programming language that followed.

Mamdani closed the ferry to the main viewing area morning of the US Navy parade. He made it significantly more difficult than usual for the Navy to obtain permits. He put up barricades that misdirected crowds. He threatened to coopt a Naval event with his political rhetoric forcing the Navy to cancel. He stalked a sailor and engineered a joke to catch him laughing for his own propaganda. He used the Navy’s own safety culture against them to keep warships far from the crowds. He promised to promote events then did nothing to promote them. He did favors for local media in exchange for them underplaying the event. These are all facts from multiple sources from O5 all the way up to admirals. But they aren’t the most grievous facts, those I cannot write without official confirmation or at least a source willing to speak on background. And he did it all via numerous NYC departments and representatives as a distributed attack while claiming he himself was supporting the Navy. He is in full rebellion against the federal government, the US military and the Republic for which it stands. And worse: he’s smart and was highly effective at sabotaging the event which was originally planned to be the biggest Naval Parade in 50 years.
Hon. Vickie Paladino@VickieforNYC

I've said this before and I'll say it again. We are in a soft secession under Zohran. He considers New York an independent city-state with its own foreign policy, immigration policy, and economic policy. He does not recognize the authority of the federal government except to the extent he can extract money or political wins from it. The intent is to use the resources and authority of New York City to wage war against the federal government and the rest of the country. The DSA is quite open about it. They're telling us what they plan to do, and Zohran is executing. Colluding with the Iranians was just another means to that end. They will collude with any and all of our enemies, because the stated goal of the DSA is to dismantle the country from within. Again, they say all of this out loud. No inferences necessary here. In this particular case, the meeting with the Iranians was sidelined by the State Department. But the intention is crystal clear, and just because a high-profile meeting was stopped doesn't mean there isn't back channel communication and cooperation happening between the DSA/Mamdani admin and the Iranians. Obviously there is. Meetings like this don't just materialize out of thin air, and ties between the DSA and Iranian-linked fronts like the People's Forum are too many to count. Now what are we actually going to do about this? We're WAY past the point that it can honestly be argued that the DSA isn't an insurgency determined to bring down the country. I really think it requires a military solution now; take this out of the corrupt civil court system and use the military to roll up the DSA and charge them as revolutionary insurgents. Do it while we still can and avoid inevitable future bloodshed.

Scientists just reviewed decades of data on AC Magnetic fields, the kind pouring off your power lines and what they do to your hormones. The results are ugly. The "safety" limit is uglier. Melatonin, thyroid, cortisol, reproduction. ALL DISRUPTED. NOT through HEAT. Through oxidative stress and calcium flooding into cells that were never supposed to open those gates. So you'd think there's a limit protecting you from that. There is. And once you understand it, you'll wish you didn't. The limit almost everybody uses comes from a private group called ICNIRP. Not a Government agency. A commission. Their number for public exposure to power frequency magnetic fields is 200 microtesla. That's 2,000 mG Now hold that number next to the actual harm data. IARC flagged these fields as a possible carcinogen back in 2001, and the signal for childhood leukemia showed up at 0.3 to 0.4 microtesla. 3 to 4 mG That's the level where kids start getting sick. So the "safety" limit sits about 500 times higher than the exposure already linked to childhood cancer. How does a limit end up that loose? Because ICNIRP only protects against one thing: an acute jolt strong enough to stimulate your nerves right now, today, this second. That's the entire basis. If the field isn't cooking your tissue or zapping a nerve, ICNIRP calls it safe by definition. Long-term, low-level, night-after-night exposure? Not their department. They looked at the chronic evidence and decided it wasn't "established" enough to act on. Meanwhile the chronic evidence kept piling up. Kaiser Permanente tied prenatal exposure to miscarriage and to obesity and asthma in the children who made it. An 18-year study of 3.5 million people found more Alzheimer's and dementia deaths in homes near the grid. And now this review adds hormone disruption to the list. Here's the part that should end the conversation. The United States has no federal limit at all for magnetic field EMF. Zero. The EPA was researching it in the 1990s and the funding got pulled. No research, no finding. No finding, no rule. The Netherlands looked at the same science and started buying up homes near power lines to move families out of the exposure zone. The US defunded the people holding the meter, then started running new high-voltage lines to feed AI Data centers. A private commission sets a limit 500 times above where kids get leukemia and only checks whether the field can zap you on the spot. That's the standard your family lives under. Ask yourself who that number was really built to protect.

Also, this is critical theory in action. This index is inherently based on the idea that morality is subjective, that there is no objective truth, and that all ideas and belief systems are worthy of equal consideration. That is the essence of critical theory: the absence of objective truth. Under the "dignity index" Nazis and jihadists are worthy of respect. THAT is "dignifying" abject evil, and nothing more.
DataRepublican (small r)@DataRepublican

The Dignity Index scores speech on a 1-8 scale. Kirk's style, passionate, unapologetic populism, would score a 2-3: "contempt." The tool was designed to make the way conservatives communicate look pathological. It doesn't ban your speech. It SCORES it... CCP-style social credit.

❗️❗️❗️🇷🇺In an extraordinary maritime breakthrough, a massive and relentless Ukrainian drone campaign has forced the Russian Federation to completely shut down commercial shipping through the critical Kerch Strait and indefinitely suspend all navigation along the Don-Azov Canal. This sweeping maritime blockade was triggered by an unprecedented "industrial scale" hunting operation executed by Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces. Deploying highly advanced, domestic FP-2 kamikaze drones built by Fire Point, Ukrainian drone squadrons shattered all previous operational records by launching coordinated swarm strikes that systematically battered Russia’s logistical shipping fleet. Over a rapid, multi-day blitz, the precision aerial strikes targeted and heavily damaged an astonishing 21 vessels—including 19 sanctioned "shadow fleet" oil tankers hauling vital fuel to occupied Crimea, alongside a dry cargo ship and a maritime ferry. The operational fallout for Moscow is catastrophic. Paralyzed by the relentless drone swarms, Russian border guards abruptly froze the entire shipping artery, refusing all transit applications through the Kerch Strait. By forcing a total halt of the Don-Azov corridor, Ukraine has effectively severed a crucial economic artery: this specific route handles nearly 25% of Russia’s entire global wheat and grain exports. Combined with the total disruption of military fuel shipments, this masterfully executed asymmetric blockade has transformed the Sea of Azov into an active combat trap, crippling the Kremlin’s southern wartime logistics and dealing a multi-billion-dollar blow to Moscow's critical export revenues.

Two little boys walked up to a hot dog stand. One of them smiled and asked, "Can we buy two hot dogs with ketchup?" The vendor smiled back "Of course you can." "We will take two please." The vendor wrapped them up and handed them over. One of the boys reached into his backpack, pulled out a package of ketchup and placed it on the counter. The vendor frowned. "Where's the money?" The boys looked confused. "You said, we could buy them with ketchup."

🔻 THEY JUST ARRESTED 5,811 DEEP STATE OPERATIVES IN 97 COUNTRIES. THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL TAKEDOWN HAS BEGUN. This was never just about politics. It was always about the money. For 72 hours, the media has been completely silent about the largest synchronized law enforcement operation in human history. They are terrified because their paymasters were just handcuffed. **THE DOUBLE STRIKE AWAKENING:** **STRIKE 1: THE SYNCHRONIZED SWEEP** Under the direct authorization of Military Intelligence, a global coalition executed 14 federal and state warrants simultaneously across 97 countries. The target? The Deep State's shadow banking network. They arrested 5,811 individuals. Not street-level criminals. These were the bagmen, the money launderers, the NGO directors, and the offshore bankers who funded the human trafficking rings, the rigged elections, and the biological suppression programs. In a single 24-hour window, Military Intelligence intercepted and seized **$293 MILLION** in liquid assets. But that was just the bait. **STRIKE 2: THE QFS OVERRIDE** The $293 million seizure wasn't the goal. It was the access key. When they seized those accounts, they didn't just take the money. They captured the routing algorithms. Trump and the White Hats used this operation to map the entire SWIFT network vulnerabilities. By seizing these specific 5,811 accounts, they successfully injected the **Quantum Financial System (QFS)** override codes directly into the central banking mainframe. The old financial system is now completely compromised from the inside. The transition isn't coming—it has already been installed. **THE CLASSIFIED INTEL:** ▪️ **OPERATION-SHADOW-SWEEP** - The global protocol that executed the 5,811 arrests ▪️ **ISO-20022-INJECTION** - The QFS override code embedded during the asset seizure ▪️ **Target List 97** - The countries now legally bound to the new financial framework The Deep State thought they controlled the global economy. They just realized Trump used their own money laundering network to install the system that will destroy them. CODE: SHADOW-SWEEP / QFS-INJECTED / ASSET-SECURED / CHECKMATE The wealth transfer has begun. The old system is a dead man walking. SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE. THE PANIC IN THE BANKS IS DEAFENING. ⟁

The Normans weren’t French. They were Normans - a people formed from Viking settlers who took land in northern Frankish territory under Rollo in the 10th century. They adopted the local language and some Frankish customs, but that didn’t change where they came from. Their roots were Germanic, Viking at the base, mixed with the Franks - the same wider Germanic stock as the Anglo-Saxons across the Channel. By 1066 they were known as Normans, literally Northmen. Not French, but a distinct people shaped by both sides of their origin. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ᛟ

Big Tech is on track to spend $725 billion on AI in 2026. Everyone keeps asking if AI is a bubble by staring at demand. Wrong place to look. The answer is on the supply side, and history has seen this exact movie before. Half the internet says AI is the biggest bubble in history. The other half says it is the most important technology ever built. Both sides are completely missing the point. Demand is noisy. It can be hyped, manufactured, even faked. Supply is real money being committed. You learn more from watching where capital floods than from any adoption chart. And capital cycles have followed the same four stages for 200 years. 1: Flood. New technology appears, returns look amazing, money rushes in. 2: Boom. More capital and competitors enter faster than demand can grow. Returns quietly start falling. 3: Collapse. Oversupply crushes profitability. Prices drop. Companies die. 4: Inheritance. Survivors buy the assets for pennies and profit from everything built by the dead. This has happened with every major technology. And here is the uncomfortable part: the biggest bubbles in history were built on the BEST technologies. 37 of the 51 major tech breakthroughs since 1825 triggered speculative bubbles. Railways in the 1830s were genuinely transformative. Capital peaked at 7% of the entire UK economy. Revenue came in at 25% of projections. The railway index halved by 1850. Fiber optics in the 90s. $500 billion invested. 85% of the fiber never got lit. Bandwidth prices dropped 90%. Corning went from $100 to $1. Fracking doubled US oil production. Oil crashed from $100 to $30. Over 200 companies went bankrupt. The technology was real every single time. The returns still got destroyed. Because returns are driven by supply, not by whether the technology works. Now look at AI. Circular financing everywhere. Nvidia invests in OpenAI. OpenAI pays Oracle. Oracle buys Nvidia chips. The fiber companies ran the same loop in the 90s and booked it as revenue. OpenAI reportedly burning billions while sales and marketing spend surged 400%. Broadcom BEAT earnings, guided AI sales slightly lower, and lost $300 billion in market value in one session. That’s exactlywhat a market priced for perfection looks like. In every past cycle, the inheritance phase saved the survivors. The railways still carried trains after the crash. The dark fiber eventually got lit. AI chips depreciate in 3 to 5 years. When this cycle turns, there may be nothing left to inherit. The pioneers rarely win these. AltaVista and Excite built search. Google inherited it. The money is made by the ones positioned AFTER the flood, not during it. The technology is real. The capital cycle does not care. This is exactly why I own zero pure AI companies. I am waiting for the inheritance phase like everyone should be.

The US Navy operates a 50,000 acre forest in Indiana whose entire job is keeping one wooden ship from 1797 afloat. The ship is USS Constitution, still a commissioned warship with an active-duty crew. Cannonballs bounced off her in 1812 because the hull sandwiches a wall of live oak ribs between two layers of white oak planking, nearly 2 feet of solid wood so dense it barely floats. British 18-pounders hit it and dropped into the sea. A sailor yelled "her sides are made of iron" and the nickname stuck. Here's the problem with owning a 229-year-old wooden ship: you can't buy the parts. Hull planks run up to 40 feet long and 7 inches thick, cut from single white oak trunks. A white oak takes over a century to grow that big. No lumberyard on earth stocks it. So the Navy grows its own. Constitution Grove at Naval Support Activity Crane holds trees over 100 years old, reserved exclusively for this ship. Foresters there are managing oaks today that will become hull planking in the 2100s. The maintenance plan literally runs on tree time. Every 20 years or so she enters dry dock and shipwrights swap out rotted timber. After two centuries of this, estimates put original 1797 wood at maybe 10 to 15 percent of the ship. The Navy keeps replacing her plank by plank because Congress mandated her preservation and because she's the only active US warship that has sunk an enemy vessel. Every other asset in the Navy has a decommission date. This one has a tree farm.
Guns&Gadgets@Guns_Gadgets

The USS Constitution, aka Old Ironsides, is the world’s oldest commissioned war ship still afloat! She was launched in 1797, one of six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794 and the third constructed. The name “Constitution” was among ten names submitted to President George Washington by Secretary of War Timothy Pickering in March or May for the frigates that were to be constructed.
