I’m boarding @Delta in Atlanta for Amsterdam. Simply this: this airline is a disgrace. I never experienced this lousy customer service-rude gate agents, indifferent staff, my request prior to travel completely ignored. What has happened to this country’s airlines? Where is pride?

The longer Strait of Hormuz traffic remains compromised, the more pressure builds on those countries heavily dependent on Gulf oil (Europe, Japan, S Korea, etc) to do whatever they can to get it opened
IMO, the odds of them creating an international naval flotilla to police the Gulf & secure free passage rises every day the current situation continues
And I think the GCC countries would happily pay for this
And the US would likely welcome the rest of the world stepping in to secure the Gulf
This works against Iran's short & long-term interests. Once in place, such a flotilla would likely be there permanently.
If I'm right about this, it's another mounting time pressure on the Iranian regime

@adamtaggart What are they going to declare war with? Kinda need a navy .. US fleet is orders of magnitude larger than the others countries combined and the best we can accomplish is a blockade

The fact that the markets have not totally imploded as a result of these atrocious White House decisions in the Middle East is less a sign of resilience and more a symptom of how corrupted, inflated, unreal our markets are. You want to get rich in America today? Have some powerful friends who can give you insider trading tips. That’s basically how most (not all) of America’s elite got to where they are.
