@GrassChild420 @eleanoir I consider it a film that had an overall negative impact on the world. I consider eugenics to be evil, and it makes me sad that something unintentionally spread that. I think those negatives outweigh the funny things in it. I probably wouldn't use "evil" as my first description.

And that "desirable" people having children is good. That's also the literal premise of the movie

@AmOneMag @eleanoir The premise is inherently dependent on eugenics theory. Although I don't believe eugenics is the point of the movie, I think the impact it had definitely promoted eugenics beliefs, even if people will publicly disagree with the term, they still support the theory.

@ajoajoajoaj @eleanoir I mean I guess it could be. But I think it backfired because I've had people defend eugenics and be incredibly resistant to the idea that all forms of eugenics are bad specifically because of things like this movie.
