Last week, @NikoAlerce and @nectar_ph experienced a devastating loss, and so did our community. 🫂💔
Beyond the material damage, including the home that was destroyed in a fire for second time this year, their work tools, clothing, and food, they also lost their beloved pets.
Chopi and Boldo were lovely companions who guided and accompanied us through every art residency. We'll remember them with love, always. 🙏

We lost our home for the second time this year. This time, it was due to a malfunction in the heater's metal connection. The pain is immense because we didn’t just lose the house. We lost our pets, who were like our children, and they couldn’t make it out. 🧵 (1/8)
