@buildwithsid makes sense when you think about it. engineers are abundant, people who can actually get customers are not
English

@N_and_ni tutorial hell is real but i'd say it's more like never shipping anything. you can watch tutorials forever and still feel like a beginner
English

@CaptainInsightX leaning into the design and product thinking side. the people who understand users and systems will still matter even if the code writes itself
English

@AskYoshik the obsession with prompting is funny. at some point the model just knows what you mean if you're clear about what you want
English

@onlyfaiq and the talkers have better engagement tbh. kind of a weird incentive structure on here
English

there are two types of people on this app
people talking about building and people actually building
if you're the second type, drop your url
let's connect
#buildinpublic
English

@dark_coderz first paying user by a mile. getting someone to actually hand over money feels completely different from just getting them to sign up
English

@FlippedRay reddit if your product fits a specific subreddit. x if you build in public consistently. product hunt for the launch spike but not much retention
English

@pmitu the talk-to-users-first part gets skipped so often. people build for 6 months then discover nobody actually wants it
English

@audiencon this is the one nobody wants to hear. you can vibe code a whole product but distribution still needs actual thinking
English

@Venkydotdev way too much and i can't even justify it anymore. it's just baked into how i build now
English

@codespicious and somehow you're the one who has to explain to yourself why you wrote it that way 6 months ago
English

@Hemantkr1982 probably 90% for me. i use it but the core logic, the app, the distribution — that was figured out before heavy ai tooling. good stress test question tbh
English

@agazdecki the 'it's normal' part hit different when i was deep in it building solo in college. knowing it wasn't just me actually made a difference
English

@seezyou or just skip the job entirely lol. easier said than done but building something yourself compounds differently
English

@Sherifdeenolat2 built CalcQuest solo — logic puzzle game, 25K users zero paid ads — the sales part is just talking to your users constantly. not sure a co-founder fixes that or just adds coordination overhead
English

@saidotdev genuinely the better interview question is why no one asked this before it shipped
English

@samteic easily. most of what i get from social media i could replace with just building more
English

@Zinny_Edmund almost never honestly. 3 years building apps, i can count the times on one hand. doesn't mean it's useless, just not how i actually learned to build things
English

@Venkydotdev the second half is the scarier part. what happens to people who never built the baseline skills because ai was always just there
English
