A man holds her bag or cooks dinner and he's a gentleman. Caring. Loving. A real man.
But a woman does the exact same thing for her boyfriend/husband? Boom - she's a maid. Oppressed. Victim of patriarchy. "Exploitation." "Unpaid labor."
What the hell is a "real man" supposed to be? Whatever the fuck benefits her and fits her ideology right now. Chivalry when she wants service. Equality when she doesn't want to do shit. No consistency. Just whatever gives her the advantage.
This isn't equality. It's hypocrisy. Pure and simple. They demand the good parts of old roles when it helps them and scream oppression the second it asks anything back. Same actions. Different gender. Opposite rules.
That's not progress. That's manipulation. And it's destroying real relationships. Have the same standards, or don't have any.

The Delhi High Court has observed that an “emerging trend” appears to be developing in matrimonial disputes where complainants invoke allegations of rape, molestation and other sexual offences to pressure in-laws into hefty settlements.
The court was hearing a petition filed by the two brothers-in-law, seeking quashing of an FIR registered at Sangam Vihar Police Station .
The petitioners contended that the criminal case was filed out of vengeance after the complainant’s husband instituted divorce proceedings in September 2023.
During the hearing, the court remarked that following the Supreme Court’s judgment in Arnesh Kumar v State of Bihar (2014), which curtailed automatic arrests in matrimonial dispute cases,
“a trend is setting in where the complainants have started alleging such serious charges of rape, molestation and similar other sexual misconduct only to ensure that the in-laws of the complainant are compelled to settle the matrimonial disputes by paying hefty amounts”.
In order to prevent the abuse, the court directed that the ongoing proceedings before the trial court should remain stayed until the next date of hearing.
