@ChrisZhouDO I was named 雅 by my grandmother meaning elegance and class. I share a similar experience as you as I picked Arlene so make things easier, but I’ve never changed it legally. Always thought I should have however am glad that it will be YaQun Zhou on my degree!

My parents named me 洋, for the ocean, vast, powerful, and w/ my family name 周, all-encompassing. It took me a long time to reconcile being Asian and American, a little too much and yet not enough of either. Because of this, my mother and I chose the name Christine. /1

I’m a DO student who got a 209 on Step 1 and a 505 on COMLEX 1. I was an average student during pre-clinical years. With all the MS2s and MS3s I see stressing out on the timeline, I want them to know it’s possible to match and to match at your #1 with these stats.

@VasoValgal @AlykaGlor I know it really feels impossible, but to add on for hope, I have below average scores, a few interviews this cycle. I was convinced that I won’t match. When I got my email, I cried for a good 20 minutes because not only did I match, I matched into the speciality I want!
