[Day 21] My vibe coding journey: Initial prompt: "Create a 3D website where, as the user scrolls, an astronaut flies through space, passes through a 4D tunnel to another universe, breaks through a monitor screen, and then returns to a normal web experience." I can't believe it works! I am hooked! Planning and Code: @grok 3. Of course @threejs. Hater is going to hate. Live link in the comment!!

@FractalPotato @haydendevs no man, you missed the point after all. the whole point is not knowing the difference between git and Github, not about self-hosting git. And not knowing the difference is pretty important

I haven't found any programming tasks that an LLM could do even barely correctly. What kind of code are you all writing?!

@nicfrb @cchiramberro @VitalikButerin pure lies? i'm currently in Argentina for almost 2 months and he's 100% right. A couple of nights ago i paid ~$26 for a pizza and a coke. Was here 8 months ago and it feels like everything was 3x cheaper

ARS/USD is at exactly the same level as it was one year ago. Quite an impressive turnaround for a currency that was previously on a seemingly unstoppable road to hyperinflation. Inflation rates have also been decreasing quickly in recent months.

AI is about to eat every indefensible CRUD app. And almost no one sees it coming. ServiceTitan: $9.5B valuation $TTAN ~$700M+ ARR ~12,000 customers >110% NRR But here's the thing: they're ultimately well-executed CRUD applications with no moat for plumbers, HVAC, lawncare, etc..... Let me show you something wild.

Why does it take up to 2 business days to process Apple Developer purchase? I thought it was instant? 🤔

This is why I don't see #AI replacing programmers anytime soon. It's because it's simply bad at precise things and #programming is exactly that. When AI is generating an image or a text, most of the time there's a lot of space for imprecision and interpretation, but with programming you have to be very exact.

@Arnas_ @rikvk01 Nope, I haven't tried growing them yet. One thing you need is networking which I didn't do for years so social media downranks you. Watch me blow up in <100 days from now. Probably a lot early.

@StartupSpells @rikvk01 Eh, my goal isn't to become an influencer or somebody big on X, I simply enjoy writing and reading what other people write. I guess I'll just stick to that w/o having followers 😅

@StartupSpells @rikvk01 Correct me if I'm wrong, but engagement pods sounds like some kind of artificial growth, at least to me. Is this video worth watching for X growth? I won't be uploading videos of any kind to my X account. I enjoy X because of writing, not because of videos or photos.

Appreciate the tips! As for the demos, I mean there's only so much you can show if you post every day. I'll have to think of some tips & tricks. I've been programming for over a decade now and most of the stuff looks obvious to me, but there're a ton of beginners out there, maybe I should start with the basic stuff and see how it does hehe

@Arnas_ What I do is I try to post cool demo videos, or something that's helpful (some trick or learning) Next to that - your writing has to be extremely clear & sharp - use short sentences Also, some engagement farming (like 'comment to test it') helps too.

8 launches, all FAILED. All in half a year😭 Now I don't have time for anything. Lost. Need money but don't know what to do anymore. I'm full until the end of June (personal tasks) Can only work on Assista now...and maybe you can give me some advice on what to do. Please🙏 I'm a bit lost. Made so many mistakes: 1. Innovify .ai - was influenced by YouTubers Launched Innovify in October. It was an AI agency where wanted to help other companies automate processes, create chatbots for them, etc. The problem was that I knew nothing about it, thought it was easy. Just wanted to replicate the YouTubers' success, it seemed so simple. Made the website, 3 TIMES, to make it look cool. Then I set the price at $5k/mo, to be cool like those YouTubers. Why not, you know :) But no client signed. I was so naive... First of all, it's not a scammy field, I just didn't understand anything. All YouTubers were saying "come on, you'll miss the trend, lose the opportunity" And I listened to them. set the same pricing as them. Not to seem weirder. Then I learned that no matter how professional you are, you can't ask for 5k/mo, you need trust. You grow slowly. The more experience you have, the greater the trust and the price. But they had 100k followers, and most of their money came from courses, not the agency 😬 2. Custom GPTs - I prioritized money over the value offered I saw everyone making Custom GPTs, it was around November. Also made one about Time Management in 10 minutes and launched it on X, no sales, nothing. But after a day, I had one sale for $6 🥳 Still, the project had no traction. And I dropped it.... 3. Hiproject .co- project management as a service, big mistake Here, more mistakes, the landing page didn't explain anything, no positioning, the offer was sooooo bad. No one needs an agency to manage their business, how dumb do you have to be 😅 It was launched in December. This time the price was $3k/mo, a more decent one. But still, no sales, no partnerships, nothing. 4. DesignTopResources .es - design directory for nobody I couldn't drive traffic to the directory, to be honest, didn't invest much time in the project. Don't compare to what the guys have now. Mine was too simple. It was launched on February 22, but still $0MRR. The mistake was that I didn't have a clear offer and abandoned this project too quickly, as there was potential. I'll give it a second chance when I feel I can. Will definitely come back to this project. 5. MVP project - it's so hard to find the right partner This time it went well, signed 2 clients. One had 173k followers🤯 But... the co-founder, being a developer, did not meet my expectations. And here I'm not just referring to skills, but also his attitude towards projects. Urgently had to close the project. Maybe I'll do a project like this with someone else, or alone, but not soon. 6. PH launch as a service - failed before launched it The idea was super cool, but decided to drop it, as I didn't have much success. I mean, okay, I know how to make a product be in the top 3 on Product Hunt. But just launching it isn't interesting. The offer needs to be rethought and everything we offer, I'll probably come back to this. Just need some time to think everything through. 7. Design3am - my LOVE😘 My success 🥳, I signed 5 clients from X on the design side, and some roasts. It wasn't launched as Design3am, but simply product design as a service, without a website, nothing this time. Amazingly, but it worked. All thanks to a few posts on X (2 launch posts) Now I don't have time, but in the summer I'll make the website and relaunch the Design3am brand in a new form. If it succeeds we will make a new revolution in the industry of productized agency🔥🚀 I mean specifically the approach. We'll see. 8. Assista.us- super successful, 2nd place on PH We launched on April 25: - 2nd Product of the Day - 662 upvotes (now 828) - 2400 site views (now 8k) I'm ready to invest all my time in this project, has huge potential... The mistake was that the site didn't clearly explain what Assista does, but we're fixing that now. The new site coming soon... And now, as I said, need some money, honestly, I don't know how, but I could use your help. Some support for 1-2 months until I stabilize with personal tasks. By July I start everything from scratch and shoot as far as possible. Can't wait. Let's make some shine✨
