The skeleton you are walking around in today is not the one you had ten years ago. Most of it isn’t even the one you had three years ago. Your bones are continuously being broken down and rebuilt by an army of specialized cells that never stop.
This is one of the most sophisticated maintenance systems in biology. And when it works correctly, it keeps your skeleton strong, damage-free, and structurally optimized for the loads you place on it throughout your life. Until it doesn’t.
Long post on bone biology and physiology … fascinating stuff, but I’m biased.

@ArmchairW @witte_sergei Also Tankers are still in their tanks

@OlenaRohoza Ah, you are from Canada - it’s where the most pathetic and coping pingers lives

WHAT A FINALE IN KUPIANSK! TOTAL SURRENDER OF THE CITY — THE ARMY ENCIRCLED!
Putin has been informed of the defeat.
Troops have completely sealed the pocket around the city. The Russian army in Kupiansk has capitulated.
Entire units have laid down their arms, thousands of occupiers have come out with their hands raised. The streets are filled with prisoners, and abandoned equipment stands in rows. Russian commanders surrendered the city without a fight.
Putin has already been notified of another humiliating defeat.

@OrdinarySlav @arturbikbaev Товарищ явно не их имеет в виду, это официальные медицинские препараты, на них не заработаешь. Он явно впаривает фуфломицины.

@ArtMaxKo @arturbikbaev Глп, тирцепатид, ретатрудит - просто существуют

@kamilkazani Long before the war John Mearsheimer said that Ukraine will get wrecked. From the 1991 USA had clear intention to use it like a bulwark against Russia.
English

You see, I lived through all these pre-war years in the Russophone space. And I remember the general vibe of imbecile bully smugness (we are stronger & do whatever we want). Look at white housers, and you will see what I mean
Fundamentally, yes, it's primarily Russia's fault
Art@ArtMaxKo
@kamilkazani Ah, again it’s all Putin fault
English

@Myappycat @kamilkazani It also doesn’t protect brain from serious retardations like of this fella
English

@kamilkazani Oh fuck off. International law doesn’t protect Iranian Shahed drones from killing Ukrainians, the Islamic Regime from shooting down Ukrainian airliners, or Russians from torturing civilians. It protects abusers more than the abused.

English

Fundamentally, the point of the international law is to defend Europeans. That is why you see so many nations desperately trying to larp as ones. It's not so much about culture or identity, as about their desperate desire to escape the untermensch status
"We are humans, too"

For all the horrors of the war in Ukraine what we did not see there was Russia target 5 universities in 5 consecutive days as the US and Israel have done in Iran. There would be calls to nuke Moscow if it did
English

@dicatticat36219 @kamilkazani But why AFU uses train stations, kindergartens and schools for their temporary deployment point?
And by the way drone torture porn - is pure invention of ukies, and most of that content is from ukies side.
English

@kamilkazani This is just objectively false and, from your side, dishonest @kamilkazani. You know very well that Russia has systematically targeted crowded train stations, kindergartens, maternity hospitals and even used drones in human safari mode.
English

@cheesehuh Эта обиженка Капустин, читает все комменты, у него рвется пукан и он банит всех подряд.
Лучше бы не позорился и просто комменты отключил.

In 2019, Poroshenko branded himself as a hawk, and Zelensky as a dove -> ppl
voted for rapprochement
BUT
There was 0% chance he could actually do rapprochement. Putin saw him as a person of infinitely low rank + probably just disliked him personally -> wouldn’t talk to him
Peter Bucci@Peter_Bucci
@kamilkazani For some reason I had never made a connection in my brain between Zelensky's efforts for rapprochement with Russia in 2019 to the 2022 invasion before I read what you just wrote.
English

For the curious among us, this is what it looks like:

priscilla (alt)@seashell_luvr
In Brazil, instead of shaving body hair which grows back quickly and creates stubble, they bleach it into a soft-focus golden fuzz that looks especially pretty on tan skin. It’s called banho de lua, or “moon bath.”
English

@margaryta_t @kamilkazani Yeah we are very bad people and will fuck up all our enemies badly, so stay put.

@ArtMaxKo @kamilkazani Well, no, most russians are guilty as well.

I had a call with President of Iran, @drpezeshkian. We discussed the situation in Iran and the Middle East. A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution are urgently needed.
I emphasized the need to end the strikes on neighbouring countries and restore freedom of navigation in the Strait Hormuz.
Despite the disagreements, it is important to maintain dialogue.
