He’s easily the 2nd best of all time for me, GOAT debates were vindicated especially during the mid 2010’s when he was outshining Messi, had a much better big game record than Messi, won a Euros etc. In terms of legacy, Messi’s prime and longevity mogged, but the debates weren’t for nothing. Ronaldo had an aura to him no other footballer in history has had, in that he was simply inevitable. No game state could stop the man from clutching up when it mattered.

ENDURANCE RUNNER vs SPRINTER (both are 24) Most people think running more = better health. I disagree. Humans evolved with incredible endurance, but not the kind most people imagine. Our ancestors spent most of their time walking. - Tracking - Planning - Building tools - Carrying things - Explosive bursts - Occasionally jogging That's very different from modern endurance running. Long-distance running is primarily a prey strategy. A gazelle runs for its life because it has no other option. Imagine the stress response that creates. Now imagine voluntarily putting your body into that state for hours every week and calling it "health“ Stress isn't automatically bad. Chronic stress is. And excessive endurance training is one of the easiest ways to accumulate it. That's why so many endurance athletes end up with: - chronically elevated cortisol - poor recovery - low testosterone - fatigue - constant aches I'm not saying never run. A relaxed 4 km run once in a while is completely fine. But if your goal is optimal health, energy, hormones, longevity, and an athletic physique, I'd spend far more time walking and a lot less time chasing mileage. Walk often. Sprint occasionally. Recover fully. Your body will thank you.

@jakubflow Legumes are literally the best pro longevity foods on earth. So yes, very healthy. Same applies to veggies. With grains and nuts, there's a bit of nuance, but as long as they are whole they are fine.

People think these foods are healthy: - veggies (especially leafy greens) - nuts - legumes - seeds - grains But they’re being compared to the modern diet. Compared to that, everything looks healthy. In reality, they’re just better than processed slop. Eat like a warrior, not like a slave.

Not a single food is essential. Stop throwing buzzwords. We are simply looking at health outcomes here. Higher intake of fruits, veggies, legumes, and nuts is repeatedly associated with lower all cause mortality, no matter the diet you compare it to. But what's your definition of essential or optimal? What your gut tells you? What you ancestors ate?

I don’t think a lot of men really want to know why women’s desire fades. Every time women try to explain it, a lot of men get defensive instead of listening. But the truth is, if a woman consistently does not want sex with her husband, there is a very good chance she is not actually enjoying the sex they are having. Obviously, medical issues are a different conversation, but a lot of the time desire disappears because the sex was never that good for her, or because he became complacent and stopped making sure she was enjoying it too. Then, instead of addressing that honestly, he starts begging, pleading, sulking, or acting wounded over sex that is objectively terrible for her. And nothing makes a man less desirable faster than turning sex into another chore she has to manage emotionally. A lot of men let themselves go too. People love to talk about women letting themselves go after kids, and I agree that it happens, but I see just as many men doing it. Desire is not owed because you have a marriage certificate. It has to be maintained by remaining desirable and making sure the other person actually enjoys having sex with you. That said, most people don’t enter marriage assuming it will become sexless. So if you have completely opted out of the sexual relationship and see no repair, you have to be honest with yourself. You cannot expect a man or a woman to remain sexually faithful forever when you have decided the sexual part of the relationship is over. If you love them, care enough to figure out where the desire went if you actually value the relationship. And if you don’t love them, and you are just comfortable, then let them go find love. Or be honest enough to allow them to have a sexual relationship outside of you. Don’t let your selfishness and inability to work on things be the cause of their pain. Remember, no one signs up for marriage with the intention of becoming a monk.
