#GigWorkersStrike #BLINKIT #Zomato #GigWorkers Dear @deepigoyal could you help with these numbers: I did some quick calculations, going by the limited disclosures on contract delivery employees (that you call partners) in your annual report, this is what I could infer: 1. Your pay on average to a contracted delivery person (who you call a partner) was Rs 388 per day for FY25. That works out to less than half of the minimum semi-skilled worker wages in Delhi at Rs 784. 2. You paid Rs 45 on average per delivery to the delivery persons (you call them partners) in FY25. That was Rs 4 better than FY24 per delivery. 3. Increase in Adjusted Revenue in FY25 over FY24, For quick commerce (10 min delivery) was 126%. For food delivery 20.87%. Overall, for delivery-linked businesses by 60.41% in FY25 over FY24. Over the same time remuneration of independent directors was increased by 317%. The salaries of those you do allow to be employees was decreased by 31.75% And, the remuneration of contacted delivery people (who you call partners) increased by 24% to Rs 10,092 from Rs 8,156 in prv year. (Not getting into other KMPs ESOPS etc and wealth flows beyond salaries). It would be wonderful to have deeper reporting for shareholders and others on payments to 'contractors' you call partners. That would help everyone understand how much of the share of revenue gets deployed to how much labour. Attaching: 1. My quick back of envelop calculations based on your Annual Report FY25 2. For future reference, cash flows from financial transactions in FY25 showing proceeds from redemption and investment in mutual funds upwards of Rs 35,000 crore. More on that later hopefully. Thanks.

How should India respond to the US invasion of Venezuela? India’s interests lie in improving our relations with the United States. It is also in our interests that the post-WW2 order changes in a way that gives India greater influence. So, India should not criticise US actions. We are not in a morality play. To what extent should India support US actions? This is a matter of cost/benefit. If our support can help overcome the current gaps, then we should go ahead and do it. Important thing: there should be a price for India’s support.
