A tonne of dry leaves and branches may be converted to 267 kgs of biomethane valued at $200. Lawn clippings, tree prunings, and crop wastes can also be converted to methane. 267 tonnes of biomethane may be converted to 133 kgs of green hydrogen. Cheaper than electrolysis.

@NewsWire_US Wow who would have thought that widespread deregulation in food safety would have a negative impact on the health of consumers?

@RizviAbul But there is no rational reason to increase Australia's population throughout all eternity. Rapid population is liked by Treasury and business. It provides ever-growing tax revenue and rising sales revenue. It is bad news for Koala habitat, hospital waiting times and congestion

We have known for 30+ years skilled migrants & temporary entrants are a significant budget positive. But a longterm immigration plan is about much more than that. None of 3 major political forces in OZ have anything that even looks like a longterm plan. smh.com.au/politics/feder…

Notice he never says it, "the obvious." "Wake up." Never the actual claim, because the moment you say it out loud, it has to survive a date check. Australia's young-onset cancer rise started in 2000. The risk of bowel cancer under 40 more than doubled before COVID existed. Australia already held the world's worst early-onset bowel cancer rate before anyone had heard of a coronavirus. Whatever "the obvious" is, it needs to have been happening in the year 2000. And the actual numbers? Ovarian isn't even on Cancer Australia's list of rising early-onset cancers. Not one figure has a timeframe attached, which is the whole trick, because a 25-year cumulative rise reads like a recent explosion if you just delete the dates. Here's what actually makes me angry: Colorectal cancer is now the leading cancer killer of Australians aged 25 to 44. It deserves serious work on diet, obesity, the microbiome, early-life exposures. Instead it gets farmed for engagement by people who won't even name their own theory, because naming it would mean defending it. x.com/BowesChay/stat…
Chay Bowes@BowesChay

Aussie news just dropped shocking figures on exploding cancer rates in young people Ovarian cancer up 30% Breast cancer up 50% Bowel cancer up 71% Prostate, pancreatic, and liver cancers also surging. They’ll blame everything except the obvious. Wake up.

Thirty-one states are now reporting cases of a parasitic intestinal disease that is making life miserable for those who contract it. While the U.S. has seen outbreaks of cyclosporiasis in the past, some 4,000 reported cases this summer are much higher than normal, raising real concerns about the illness. @WmBrangham reports.

@NewsHour It’s a whole lot more than that and going to get worse. No one inspecting our food anymore and no one is in charge of preventing and containing outbreaks. DOGE and rump idiots didn’t think these essential agencies and services were important.

@JessicaDAmir AI systems may create investment opportunities and lift productivity. They are able to rapidly assess options given to them. This is just one example where ChatGPT quickly assessed the use of existing technology to upgrade low-value energy streams. blog.gerbilnow.com/2026/05/trash-…

Lucky Country? My rent went up $100 a week, more than Albanese said. My power bill tripled. OECD: “Australia is becoming poorer.” The Productivity Commission: “Australia’s living standards have gone backwards & the trend will continue unless we lift productivity, encourage investment.”
