@QofAnfield I agree 100 mil is too much for him but what 3 proven players are you signing for that amount?

Diomande for £100m? Would rather spread the budget on 2-3 proven quality players.

V1 only makes you immune to the virus created by Frenchie, Butcher, and the team. As we already saw, Soldier Boy’s radioactive blast removed powers from supes like Bombsight. That means radioactive energy can still burn out Compound V from the body. So when Kimiko used the upgraded radioactive blast on Homelander, it makes sense that he lost his powers too. It doesn’t matter whether someone was injected with V1 or normal Compound V radiation-based depowering still works. Am I missing something here? Because the logic seems pretty consistent to me.

THE BOYS SERIES FINALE SPOILER THE BOYS SERIES FINALE SPOILER THE BOYS SERIES FINALE SPOILER Butcher was right. It IS only a matter of time before another Homelander pops up as long as supes are allowed to exist. I get why Hughie shot him. He loves Annie and isn’t willing to 1/2

@EddyGwo @Teslimatttt That and someone else made the great point that Butcher is a trained CIA operative so would likely have better reactions anyway. He might not be stronger just better at using his powers.

I mean Butcher's Temp V powers essentially made him the 3rd strongest character in the verse, sitting right below Homelander and SB. He went toe to toe with Homelander, landed solid hits, and his heat vision even tore Homelander’s suit. Why did a single dose of V make him so overwhelming powerful compared to seasoned supes?

@iwolf6645 @Asriel_1985 @AlexJKelly Don’t they have a scene in season 5 establishing that humans are not unaffected carriers? Because MM, Frenchie, and Hughie get exposed when they infect Soldierboy.

@Teslimatttt I actually don't think he was that powerful as a supe. But you give a ex special forces commando super powers and he's going to be much better at fighting and killing then possibly all the other supes who didn't have any skills before their powers, despite being less powerful

The humiliation of the villain is a sign of sadism from the culture that savors it. Homelander is truly a villain but he was used to pain and suffering and was filled with rage. He would not have begged and pleaded for life. The show's portrayal is utterly inconsistent with how people like him behave. It's a sadistic fantasy that betrays the sadistic convictions of the writers. They sought to humiliate the villain, but Homelander isn't real and they are. Ironically, in the end, it is the showrunners themselves who end up being the show's true villains.
Emir Han@RealEmirHan

In The Boys finale, Homelander had to look powerless according to Eric Kripke “Yeah, it was really important to us for Homelander to at least experience a little bit of time powerless.” “People have asked me, ‘Well, why don’t you send him out in the world powerless, wouldn’t that be the ultimate punishment?’ “I’m like, it would, until he gets his hands on some more Compound V, and then you’re back to where you started.” “So, he cannot walk out of that room alive, but we can spend time with him powerless to really reveal what everyone’s been saying all season, which is, ‘Take away those powers and you are nothing.’ “And he’s so cowardly and blubbering and pathetic, as are most strong men when you remove their power and they’re and they’re faced with their imminent death, they rarely handle it bravely.”

@fandompulse first 3 seasons of the Boys were good but the last 2 were ass in every regard and i hope the people who made it never get work in that industry again. They suck at writing. a fucking chatbot could've done better.

The Boys series finale introduced Gunter Van Ellis: world's richest man, 17 children, amateur astronaut, talks about white fertility rates, wears a "We Believe In Homelander" hat. Homelander took him to space. Elon Musk replied to a post about the scene with one word: "Pathetic." Showrunner Eric Kripke quote-tweeted Musk's response and posted: "I'll never get a better review ever." Kripke confirmed Homelander was modeled on Trump, and it was obvious this new character was modeled on Musk. Did The Boys end as a superhero show or a political broadcast?

@ATLiverpool_ Bullshit. It's not just the trophies it's what we're seeing on the pitch. We've had managers who won few trophies but they rarely got booed at anfield. Slot isn't getting booed because we didn't win the league it's because the football is boring and slow.

If it's Andoni Iraola coming in, UCL finish & a Prem title in his first two years is the bare minimum Nothing less is acceptable based off the opinions that have been portrayed over the last 9 months regarding the current incumbent #LFC

Funny how after Kimiko takes away Butchers powers he doesn’t immediately start dying You know, because the end of last season showed he was only alive because he bonded with the parasite he got from taking the Compound V? That would require good writing though

@martinbridge59 Leeds should have been harshly punished. That being said they spied on a league opponent whereas Southampton spied on play off opponent which is arguably worse.

Spygate. Leeds were fined £200,000 which Bielsa paid. How can it be right that Boro get put into the Playoff final that could be worth over £100 million? And what about the other clubs Southampton spied on? Do they all just have to be thankful for the 4 point deduction?

@Asriel_1985 I wouldn’t say they fully deserve the punishment it was an incredibly stupid thing to do for sure but they admitted their liability, a massive fine should of been handed to them in my view .

Southampton getting thrown out of playoff final the decision was made within a week!, technically it’s a fine of 200-250m as that’s the revenue generated getting back to the premier league & being there for a season & 4 points deduction seems very very severe! Yet Man City still have no action over the 115 charges one rule for one one rule for another, I hope Southampton win their appeal.
