@xrpen15 NFT's = Fiduciary relationship. There are plenty of use cases - ticketing, in-game items etc - But it only truly make sense in situations where there is trust between parties. (i.e. upheld by rule of law).

Difficult concept for many to grasp- Nfts are just an on-chain proof of purchase. Traceable receipts with no intrinsic value other than the proposed systems that the receipts represent. If there's no underlying value proposition that the receipts are being printed for, then there's no value in those jpegs. Erc721 and 1155 are protocols used for storing data on chain. Hot linking data to a JPEG doesn't make the jpeg useful or valuable. Eventually, one day somebody's going to shut their ipfs node off and your jpeg disappears forever. If nft contracts are not updatable and upgradable then nfts as receipts are useless.

If only there was some sort of tool that enabled sovereignty over ones wealth through self custody..
