BREAKING: @MapProtocol appears to have been exploited via Butter Bridge, with reporting indicating ~1 quadrillion MAPO was minted to an attacker and some liquidity was extracted. Here’s what we know. 1) Summary - Reports point to Butter Bridge v3.1 (OmniServiceProxy) being abused to mint ~10^15 MAPO. beincrypto.com/1-quadrillion-… - Attacker address being circulated: 0x40592025392BD7d7463711c6E82Ed34241B64279 - MAP Protocol is reported to have paused the MAPO ERC-20 ↔ mainnet bridge as containment. phemex.com/news/article/m… 2) What is known (root cause pending) - Named component in multiple reports: Butter Bridge v3.1 “OmniServiceProxy”. - Early technical narrative (secondary source) suggests abuse sits in OmniServiceProxy.retryMessageIn and an authenticity check that hashes multiple dynamic byte arrays using keccak256(abi.encodePacked(...)). ourcryptotalk.com/news/butter-br… 3) Attack path (early; still being confirmed) - Exploit path appears to be: craft/manipulate a retryable cross-chain message so it passes the bridge’s retry validation, then trigger an unintended mint on the destination side. - The suspected is dynamic-type packing collisions when abi.encodePacked is used across multiple dynamic fields as a guard preimage (field boundaries can be rearranged yet hash stays the same) - After minting, attacker reportedly swapped/dumped some counterfeit supply to pull ETH/liquidity from pools. Reports and a full official postmortem are to be fully confirmed.

WE'RE BACK! (We never left. Just trying to be more active on X!)

Studies show that users who enable Claim Bot tend to accumulate significantly higher FLR rewards 🧠 - No epoch tracking - No missed rewards - Costs 3.2FLR to enable 🤏 Given that rewards expire after 90 days, it pays for itself if it catches even one cycle you would've missed.

Thanks for nothing @X. Please review my next appeal for removing the (wrongly) imposed suspension of @CommunityFlare with more detail. Thank you @Support @elonmusk
