@AnneClimb @IAU_org Actually even they don’t claim the “sole right” to name stars. It’s an old public/cultural activity, anyone can do it! If you want to name a star in a public transparent way that raises funds for space grants you can try astroledger.org!

@a_wazard @dillon_mulroy problem with star naming is it doesn’t “work” in the sense the organizations offering it don’t have a legal right to name stars, vs constitutiondao can actually buy the print of the constitution in the auction, your token is a share with voting power. UX is a smaller problem
