Bernie's 5% wealth tax would: -Raise starting teacher pay to $60,000 -Give $12,000 to a working family of 4 -Expand Medicare for dental, vision, hearing -Guarantee universal childcare -End homelessness Bezos would see his wealth drop from $279 billion to $265 billion. Poor guy.

Jeff Bezos on CNBC: "If people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate, but don't pretend that that's gonna solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens.... Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing high rent is government intervention."

In a sermon in Brooklyn, NY, at the Muslim American Society Youth Center, director Mohammad Badawy declared: “As a Muslim, my life’s mission is to fight the U.S. government, the U.S. Army, and ICE until my last breath—that is my reason for existence.”

Note the underlying stupidity behind these threats. US bases and troops around the world are there for US global force projection, not to protect Spain or Italy or whatever he thinks. America’s enemies would love it if he picked up his toys and went home.
The Bulwark@BulwarkOnline

Q: "You talked about possibly pulling out some troops of Germany. Would you be considering the same thing for Spain and Italy?" Trump: "I probably will…Italy has not been of any help to us and Spain has been horrible."

You’re lying. All the public & private data shows that political violence in this country over the past 30-40 yrs comes primarily from the right. Even with an uptick from late 2025 of political violence from the left. You know you’re lying. But your job is to divide. Shame on u.
Michael Knowles@michaeljknowles

Political violence is not a “both-sides” problem. It’s also not a fringe problem. It comes from the mainstream Left.

@disclosetv They haven't released any of the hidden stuff to trump. This has been admitted and stated by the man bun in charge. He said its a need to know and trump doesnt need to know. You'd think trump would fire him. I dont think trump knows this or no one is telling him. Facts

Here's a critical part of the war no one is talking about - we're running low on interceptor missiles. Once we run out, we have to leave. Otherwise our ships are sitting ducks. So, we might not have a choice on whether to end the war. Staying past that can only make things worse.

Absolute disaster for the Pentagon. Professor John Mearsheimer confirms the US Navy is utterly terrified to enter the Strait of Hormuz because Iranian missiles will easily sink them. He reveals 13 US bases are heavily damaged and Trump's ground forces are completely useless.

If you think that the Pentagon has technology that can hear a human heartbeat from 40 miles away, across a desert that's filled with ambient background sounds, you're probably the kind of low-IQ person who also believes in vaccines, chemotherapy and the Easter bunny.
Collin Rugg@CollinRugg

NEW: The CIA used a secret tool called "Ghost Murmur" that uses AI to find heartbeats to rescue the U.S. airman who was stranded in Iran, according to the New York Post. The secret technology was allegedly used for the first time in the field, according to the Post. "The secret technology uses long-range quantum magnetometry to find the electromagnetic fingerprint of a human heartbeat and pairs the data with artificial intelligence software to isolate the signature from background noise," the Post reported. "It’s like hearing a voice in a stadium, except the stadium is a thousand square miles of desert," the source said. "In the right conditions, if your heart is beating, we will find you." "The name is deliberate. ‘Murmur’ is a clinical term for a heart rhythm. ‘Ghost’ refers to finding someone who, for all practical purposes, has disappeared..." "Advances in a field known as quantum magnetometry, specifically sensors built around microscopic defects in synthetic diamonds, have apparently made it possible to detect these signals at dramatically greater distances." CIA Director John Ratcliffe appeared to hint at this technology on Monday, saying the CIA possessed "unique capabilities" but said he couldn't "tell you everything that you want to know." President Trump also revealed during the press conference that the CIA spotted the officer from about "40 miles away." Insane.

Efficiency is just a smokescreen for unpredictability. During a screen-share session, I noticed our junior engineer heavily utilizing keyboard shortcuts. Alt-tabbing. Ctrl-C. Ctrl-V. His mouse barely moved at all. I paused the meeting and asked what he was trying to hide with such rapid window switching. He said he was just working efficiently to hit his sprint goals. I told him that bypassing the graphical user interface is fundamentally untrustworthy behavior. If he isn't moving the cursor, our keystroke logging software can't properly calculate his physical exertion metrics. He asked if I seriously wanted him to manually click the edit menu to copy and paste. I said yes. I submitted a ticket to IT to physically remove his control keys.

My heart is breaking -- Nick (@nickpopemod) passed away this afternoon at our home. The last few weeks of his life, even as he suffered, he managed to do a few interviews from home. I was so lucky to have met and to have married Nick. He was a wonderful husband. I loved him dearly.
