Rage baiting accounts are social media profiles that deliberately post inflammatory or provocative content to elicit anger, outrage, or frustration from users, thereby boosting engagement, traffic, and potential revenue for the account owner. These accounts, sometimes automated bots, exploit the human tendency to react strongly to negative emotions, using tactics like misinformation, staged videos, or exaggerated statements to manipulate algorithms and keep users interacting with their content.
Conclusion as a decent human it's on us to find these accounts and call them out. Becuase while we may be able to spot them naturally or with some training, many other people are unaware or dare i say to dumb to realize they are being played.
