TikTok's AI built this ad for me It spliced together my ad creatives, generated its own script and even added a british voiceover And without me even realising: it tested the ad and it is (apparently) one of my top performing: CPC USD$0.015 23.73% CTR From 4,875 impressions
Adam Lyttle@adamlyttleapps

TikTok found winning creatives in 2 days (total cost $70) Meanwhile meta ads is still in learning phase a week later for the same test. No clear winning creative (total cost $490) Now the question is: will the winning ad format from TikTok convert on meta too? Is this a shortcut to find winning creative? Let's find out…

MAGA X Times Daily News 🇺🇸
Tampa Bay, Florida This is a true tale of a miscarriage of justice, businessman Michael Martin applied for permits for a $1 million guest house on his property, the plans were quickly approved and permitted by the city, when the project was nearing completion a Neighbors filed a complaint stating that the view from the guest house looked directly interfered with their view and the Neighbors Gordon and Barbara Babbitt found a judge to Rule in their favor citing an obscure 100 year-old statute to wit Mr. Martin appealed, before the appellate process played itself out the same judge found him in contempt of court for not tearing it down and ordered him to be imprisoned in April of 2026 He was released from the Hillsborough County Jail on Friday, May 8, 2026, after spending nearly 3 weeks behind bars for civil contempt of court. He agreed to comply with the judge’s demolition order (after his latest appeal was denied), which was the only way to get out — there was no bond option. He spoke to reporters from his Beach Park home the same day he was released, saying he’s “not done fighting” but is moving forward with tearing down the guest house, pool, and pickleball court (demolition is scheduled to start this week and will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars). I would spend another $1 million in legal fees for false imprisonment and damages from the city… Bet me

I want to share a story about a developer who burned out and decided to exit the business. He got inspired by my story and decided to try. Never wrote code himself, so he hired a team. Paid salaries every month and tried to figure out marketing. But after several years in business he never broke even and decided he’d had enough. He said it was the worst decision he’d ever made. 6 months ago I connected him with another developer and he bought an app from him. But in 6 months he did nothing. He asked me to buy the whole business. Apps, code, the company. I agreed. Thought – ok, I’ll close the company, usually costs a couple thousand dollars. But when my accountants got to work, it turned out the company had no bookkeeping for 4 years, no audits done. So now I have to restore the accounting history, pass an audit, pay fines and only then can I close the company. The price of this deal unexpectedly grew by $12K. Another mistake for my collection. No mistakes, no growth. Accepted it and got back to work on monetization :)
Viktor Seraleev@seraleev

I acquired 3 apps for $62K. The most I’ve ever spent on apps. Actually did this over a month ago. Been quietly working on updates since: improving some, relaunching others under new brands. Wine ID had revenue but bad reviews. A basic AI wrapper. I liked the audience and agreed on the price. The plan is to turn it into a Vivino competitor with my own wine database. Big, complex challenge. Exactly the kind I like. The other two came from a developer who burned out and decided to quit entirely. He just said, take them for whatever. Private deals. No marketplaces. Developers made me an offer, I said yes.

@swagburg @terenzeyuen That’s a good point on subscription based purchase directly from App Store. However, you can totally make it free + sub in app + a free tier with limited features.

@AurimasFilms @terenzeyuen there's no monthly sub default in app store that you can list an app with you either make it free and add a sub in app or make it paid single purchase. on that matter, i never saw a free app that had a single purchase unlock to all functionality inside

After taking dozens of apps to #1 in the App Store, our team went back and analyzed over 100,000 social media posts to trace back what worked We found 34 hooks that brought in 100's of millions of views and more than 300 others proven to go viral.. and turned all of that into templates you can steal for free If you run a consumer app and want: - more installs - higher App Store rankings - content that lands with Gen Z Comment “HOOKS” and I’ll DM you the file.

@seraleev it really depends. I'm guessing you didn't launch it yet? Personally I'd go for the .app unless I was going to market it hard. You also have a great track record. I'm sure the .com would be a worthy investment.

@seraleev What's a bad refund rate? How are refund rates calculated, daily, quarterly or just lifetime totals of an app?

I track cancellations. But refunds hit differently Cancellation = maybe later, maybe too expensive Refund = the app didn’t meet expectations A high refund rate isn’t just a signal to improve your product, it’s also a signal that an email from Apple might be coming Refunds = unhappy users Unhappy users = complaints And complaints don’t get ignored

I keep seeing more and more about AppStack. Here’s a quick summary: AppStack is trying to replace AppsFlyer with a simpler, privacy-first attribution system. The key idea: they bypass classic iOS limitations (ATT / SKAdNetwork). 1. probabilistic attribution 2. device-level data without IDFA 3. improved signals sent back to ad networks Founded by engineers Lucas Moscon and Tom Darmon. Raised a small seed round in 2025. They offer simple integration (SDK + server-to-server) and work with Firebase. You need to join a waitlist to get access. Not sure how safe this is from an App Store perspective, but I really want to test it. Anyone here already tried it?

"paid ads don't work" if you want to make a business they do we are getting better CPAs than we were with a free trial this was a painful change that took 2 weeks to show results but it's clearly working tiktok ads are the most underrated paid ads channel right now

Ernesto Lopez@ErnestoSOFTWARE

We fully hard paywalled 1 of our apps revenue tanked.. and now it’s only makes $800 to $1,000 day But that’s okay. because our ads are now optimizing for purchase events, rather than trial events Which makes everything 10X more effective. Already noticing a huge difference $5,000/days soon
