Australia is supporting a more climate resilient and water secure future in Cambodia. We’re launching a new partnership (the Australia Cambodia Partnership for Climate Resilience or ACP4Climate) to help communities better adapt to the impacts of climate change in Cambodia.

Today’s decision to uphold Kem Sokha’s conviction is deeply disappointing. Australia’s Chargé d'affaires attended the verdict hearing. We urge Cambodia to take steps to expand civic space and create the conditions for genuine, contested elections.

We continue to advise exercise a high degree of caution in #Cambodia overall. Do not travel to areas within 50 kilometres of the Cambodia-Thailand border due to the risk of armed conflict between Thai and Cambodian forces. (1/2)
