.500 at the end of April with two rookies in the lineup, a bullpen working things out, and a closer trying to get settled, is something I'll take.

@SportsBoyTony @SirFranksnBacon Here is the problem. As Good as James Harden is in the playoffs he fades the deeper the series goes. I truly think he puts so much into the early games that he runs out of gas cone games 6 or 7. You better hope Mitchell can carry the load if it goes that far.

Obviously think Donovan could have one of those playoff virtuoso games he’s known for in game 5 at home. The role players should play better too. But Allen clearly can’t jump and Mobley looks like the same player he was in year 2. If those two can’t be formidable inside, yikes

Brito has a frying pan for a glove. Yet another costly error today. I like the bat and believe he will help at some point - but he needs to regroup in Columbus and work to be more versatile, get back to his approach and just take a deep breath. A step back to AAA doesn’t hurt.

@JL_Baseball Sabrowski shook off two pitches before the HR and the next hitter he shook off some pitches to. It seems like we have been waiting for 3 years for Bo to break out and it just never seems to happen If he isn't hitting Hedges is just a better option.

@Ausman13 With the pitchcom, theres almost no shaking off. And relievers have less pitches to throw anyway. So there isnt the shaking off you think theres hardly time with the pitch clock

@CleGuardPro Add to it that Hedges is 7-0 as a catcher. All other catchers are 4-9 going into this game Cooper Ingle at least creates a little excitement.

@CleGuardPro I am excited about those pitchers coming up but Is it a pitcher problem or a catcher problem? It just seems like with Hedges the pitchers get in a rhythm where Naylor there is a lot of shaking off his pitch call. I wonder if there is a trust issue there

@KenCarman @923TheFan I Actually put more of that on Vogt. I don't know why Brito was pinch running for Valera. That forced him in a position where Brito (who is known as a poor defender) had to play 2nd. Also why wasn't Hedges out there for Fry. Better defender and game caller.

@AlPawlowski Couldn't agree more. Fall baseball always seems to be good weather until October. Unfortunately Football will not move from the fall spot as in most schools it is king.

Another high school baseball game scheduled today, another rainout. Ohio needs to give strong consideration to playing baseball in the fall. The spring weather here has never been conducive for baseball. Many, many missed opportunities for growth and development.

@KenCarman I can see why you would pick it The Draft is a working man's NFL event. They are the fans who go tailgating, drink cheap beer and just want to talk football. The Super Bowl is for fans who like suites, drink wine and enjoy a $200 steak before the game.

You can get into anywhere at the draft. It's the beginning of the year, not the end. Less expensive by far. No radio row to have to set up at and have a headache all week for. A thousand times less stressful. I've picked the draft for years. Not even close to controversial.
