An interesting collaborative generative art experiment in the era of LLMs - split up a sketch into a few modular functions and ask other generative artists you know to write their interpretations. Then can combine and compare versions with various LLM versions and see what is more interesting.

I found this person and can still see their tweets. Every day forward, as long as I'm alive, I will read them over a nice chianti. When I die, my children will visit my monument, and read them aloud to my remains. As will their children, and those after. When humanity itself expires, my swarms of agentic beings will summarize their tweets and send them to my consciousness, cross-dimensionally. @batsoupyum will be bcc'd.

Artists do not need more social networks (bored/exhausted of this) to build 'community', this is for influencers, youtubers, etc... Artists do not need more social networks, even less created by the same that already own ART platforms. Artists need AUDIENCE, not community: -Community (closed circle, conditions, almost cult/sect). -Audience goes much further: Big part of our audience is not even here in X, is in the whole web, not in small rooms. Artists need TIME to create, to experiment, to research... A LOT of TIME. Each minute spent by an artist in managing communities/social networks is a minute lost in creating. Think macro, not micro. What about if each side start to focus on their JOB and platforms start to PROMOTE, SUPPORT and HELP artists to find collectors, galleries, exhibitions... (instead of using their time/money in creating another social network that will become quickly in a echo chamber full of artists but almost no collectors/galleries/exhibitions?) so artists can focus on their job that is creating? What about this? Call me crazy...👀👍 *What's next a Rodeo shit coin so artists can tip each other creating a false illusion that something is happening, while the same in the top look over the shoulder and Art Platforms fill their bags?🤣 Stop repeating patterns that NEVER work and focus on your REAL work. Good night.🙏 *We are artists, not animals to be tamed in 'Rodeos'.😉

you’re right bro, the artist you and 30 other rich homies are pumping in a niche bubble will absolutely reshape art society and culture.

For those wondering, I'm still brokering sales. It's not about volume for me. I really enjoy building relationships and connecting the dots. So, I’m being more intentional about what I take on, genuinely taking the time to understand the works and the artists behind them 🤣🤣

For those wondering, I'm still brokering sales. It's not about volume for me. I really enjoy building relationships and connecting the dots. So, I’m being more intentional about what I take on, genuinely taking the time to understand the works and the artists behind them, as well as the collectors' stories. That’s much more important to me than just rushing to the next sale.

Hey, @elonmusk, going to Mars, self-driving cars, robots, AI... those are all respectable goals and dreams, but for the rest of us mere mortals, a simple goal and a dream come true would be uploading 20-30 mb Gifs and using them as profile pictures.👌 Make Gif Big! ✊

OpenAI now wants a federal funding backstop for their data center buildout and Jensen talking much more openly about how we will lose to China if we don’t rapidly build out our energy capacity it’s becoming very obvious that what appears like broken capitalism circular investment between these firms is actually implementation of a national policy priority the are trying to make it look like it’s being done through the free market, but this is very likely orchestrated in ways which are not being broadly discussed yet tl;dr- AI is likely not a bubble, it’s a “free market” Manhattan Project

I enjoyed reading this because I agree that very, very, very few people working with AI are artists, and a very, very, very small percentage of what is created via AI is good art, even when it's lauded as such. But -- a great artist can and will do with *any* tool what no one else can or will think to do. And the vast potential for creative AI doesn't actually have to do with breeding brilliant artists, or even mediocre artists; it's about continuing to evolve the way we as human beings understand ourselves and each other, and connect and communicate with the people and environments around us.

Getting to experience it in the first place needs to start somewhere People seemed to 'get it' immediately creating their own outputs in a live generator setup @ippsketch made for a show last year

Experiential generative art has the potential to drastically change the atmosphere at events in a positive way. What is holding back wider adoption of generative art in major (high budget) productions within the sports and entertainment industry?
