An interesting collaborative generative art experiment in the era of LLMs - split up a sketch into a few modular functions and ask other generative artists you know to write their interpretations. Then can combine and compare versions with various LLM versions and see what is more interesting.

it’s becoming very obvious that what appears like broken capitalism circular investment between these firms is actually implementation of a national policy priority
the are trying to make it look like it’s being done through the free market, but this is very likely orchestrated in ways which are not being broadly discussed yet
tl;dr- AI is likely not a bubble, it’s a “free market” Manhattan Project

I enjoyed reading this because I agree that very, very, very few people working with AI are artists, and a very, very, very small percentage of what is created via AI is good art, even when it's lauded as such. But -- a great artist can and will do with *any* tool what no one else can or will think to do. And the vast potential for creative AI doesn't actually have to do with breeding brilliant artists, or even mediocre artists; it's about continuing to evolve the way we as human beings understand ourselves and each other, and connect and communicate with the people and environments around us.
