@JonFraserTF lol. It would be funny were it not supposedly serious Canadian political debate. But as a Canadian I find it highly embarrassing and indicative of the fact that it is not just our birth and marriage rates that have collapsed, but also our common sense.

@colinabwallace @KatKanada_TM How absolutely hypocritical leftists are given how many million times we have heard them complain that Trump is in the files. But mention Carney being in the files and they go ballistic. I simply cannot stand the endless leftist hypocrisy. Talk about being "pathetic."

@jakefreshy43 @droid1963 @TheReclamare "living life in paranoia isn't helping" I don't disagree with that generally speaking, however it is certainly a challenge to not feel that way given the current political instability. "For Unity through peace, not violence." Let's hope so.

Stick with me on this its important🧵 In 1992 the CDN Govt began an investigation in its relationship with Indigenous people. It ran 20 months, visited 96 First Nation communities and held 178 days of public hearings It was called the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples 1/4

@jakefreshy43 @droid1963 @TheReclamare "Land title rulings are not scoped in on taking peoples home or businesses away" Not yet, but I have little faith that it will remain that way in the long run. "recognizing the Native peoples existence." Sorry, but I disagree that we do not recognize their existence already.

@AvroRobertt @droid1963 @TheReclamare You guys do own your homes/businesses though and the KIRS findings have no legal binding with land title rulings. Land title rulings are not scoped in on taking peoples home or businesses away, it is simply land title affirmation recognizing the Native peoples existence.

@jakefreshy43 @droid1963 @TheReclamare This whole thing is merely a form of hatred against Canadians and an attempt by leftists including the government of China to ruin the nation imo. We do not even know if we own our own homes and businesses any more. What an absolute disaster for economic and social stability.

@AvroRobertt @droid1963 @TheReclamare That grave site wouldn't even have all the students who attended there, some were buried elsewhere. The federal government purged funeral records and indian agent files through the pass system. Attempting to use this GPR anamoly finding as a total metric is illogical.

@jakefreshy43 @droid1963 @TheReclamare The whole thing is patently absurd and just more anti white hate. There are no graves and no 215 bodies. If there was there would have been definitive proof by now. Just more politically motivated leftist lies.

@droid1963 @TheReclamare The 215 claim has been corrected to soil disturbances consistent with juvenile graves and this GPR anamoly finding wasn't available to them at the time let alone the technology or all records. These were some of the Kamloops survivors, not all of them. Context matters.

@CityNewsVAN @WillowbrookBC So replies allowed on this post, but not the residential school story, that actually matters to citizens. I am therefore going to unfollow your channel. Tired of that sort of censorious attitude to important issues in our mainstream Canadian media.

@poppy4161 @CP24 What a bizarre statement. If you believe that then why do you live in the country that was almost totally built by white males? Canada is a white male political construct. You could live in any black country in the world. And yet you don't. A racist hypocrite.

The Squamish appropriated Roman characters and marks when inventing their dictionary in 2011. The number 7 signifies a sharp break in sound, like “uh-oh.” Uh-oh! No one in the world speaks Squamish as a first language, and no one can write or read it.

Sen̓áḵw doesn't really "break all the rules." Meets City massing standards. Follows the Residential Tenancy Act. Built to BC Building Code. Funds public art at the same rate as projects in the City. It also has heights comparable to dozens of buildings within 2 km.

Premier Eby, claiming British Columbia is a "stable jurisdiction in a very unstable time" while announcing a trade delegation to China is pure NDP delusion detached from every measurable reality. China is the primary source of the precursor chemicals fueling our opioid crisis. Since January 2016, Canada has recorded 53,308 apparent opioid toxicity deaths as of June 2025, with fentanyl and analogues dominant and British Columbia among the hardest hit. Just months ago, CBSA seized 4,300 litres of those precursors from China at our own ports, enough for billions of lethal doses. This isn't partnership; it's hybrid warfare on Canadian families. Our streets tell the rest: the 2025 Metro Vancouver Point-in-Time Count found 5,232 people experiencing homelessness, up 9% from 2023, with tent cities expanding while your 2026 budget scaled back housing investments amid record deficits. Taxpayer-supported debt-to-GDP is forecast to climb from 30.6% this year to 37.4% by 2028-29, with the province's credit rating downgraded yet again and interest costs projected to hit $8.7 billion, or $1,520 per British Columbian. That's the "stability" you're selling? Your DRIPA legislation and agreements like the one with Musqueam have directly enabled rulings such as the Cowichan Tribes case, where the BC Supreme Court declared Aboriginal title over private fee-simple lands in Richmond, labeling Crown grants defective and invalid. This title uncertainty has stalled over $670 billion in energy, mining, and resource projects, driven BC's mining investment attractiveness near the bottom globally, idled mills, and killed jobs. Forestry communities are hollowed out. Private property rights are now in limbo. That's not stability, it's self-inflicted chaos. Global context makes this worse. While the U.S. under Trump imposes tariffs and pressures the CRINK axis, you're rushing to court the same regime that funds Iranian proxies, threatens Taiwan, and ships the chemicals killing our citizens. Prime Minister Carney's recent deals on EVs and canola didn't fix the fentanyl flow or the energy price spikes from Hormuz disruptions pushing Canadian gas above $1.80/L. Begging Beijing for ag and energy exports while our own LNG and critical minerals sit locked behind regulatory gridlock is economic surrender. Enough. British Columbians deserve Sovereign Realism: fast-track domestic LNG terminals, small modular reactors on our uranium reserves, and critical minerals with statutory 24-36 month approvals. Repeal DRIPA's veto powers and shift to modern treaties that deliver Charter equality, finality, and real prosperity, like Tsawwassen. Scrap interprovincial barriers for an immediate $210 billion GDP boost. Enforce borders and secondary sanctions on fentanyl enablers instead of deepening dependency on adversaries. Stop exporting our resources to the regime poisoning our kids and importing their instability. Develop them here for allies who don't wage chemical war on us. Evidence over excuses. Precision over propaganda. Citizens first. Canada First.

@dave_pasin Prioritizing/reserving spaces for FN does not mean it's exclusive. What makes them poorly built? I think the project is an excellent model of urban planning with the space provided. The buildings and residents generate economic activity and create amenities

Racist crank can't even get basic facts about the project right (Senakw is not a Musqueam project) Probably engagement bait but it's getting really bad out here. The units are not exclusively for Indigenous people, this project benefits the entire city

The wealthy 1500-member Musqueam tribe, which claims all of Vancouver, is building 11 towers (some 56 stories) on an 11.7-acre waterfront site. This density breaks all the rules, but when you’re a court-supported racial oligarchy, you can do anything.

@marissenmark Re: the term "First Nations." How can there be only 194 recognized nations in the whole world, and yet we have over 650 "nations" inside Canada? The term is being incorrectly used, is excessively aggrandizing, and not helpful in the least when it comes to hard negotiations.

Vancouver is actually lucky that local First Nations are able to use their own rules to provide this much-needed housing that’s walking distance to downtown Vancouver. This is the kind of housing that reduces the necessity of owning a car, making life more affordable and convenient for the people living there. Over 50% of trips in Vancouver are already made by walking, transit or bicycle.
