"The Millionaires' Tax is about making life more affordable." One year ago, WA Democrats passed ~$2,000/year in new household taxes — gas, sales, B&O, and capital gains. Those hit in January. They also kept the Climate Commitment Act, which added 50–60¢ per gallon to your gas bill — after promising it would cost "pennies." Now they're offering relief. Starting in 2028. Maybe. The "largest tax break in state history" doesn't kick in until 2028. Neither does the income tax you're supposedly protected from. You're paying the tab now for a rebate they'll decide on later. Affordability is easy to promise when you're the one making life unaffordable.

Only thing keeping me here right now is the thrill of a knock down drag out fight to overturn this monstrosity and save our state. All aboard, we’ve got some work to do.

WA state income tax Bill No refunds for overpayments I am going to oversimplify this but essentially if you end up paying too much income tax or have credits that cannot be used in the current tax year but which would be useful the following year (small businesses can have really big up and down years back to back) the current income tax proposal basically says you can’t get your money back. Several amendments have been proposed like this one to allow you to use the credits and or get your overpayment back… below is a screen shot of the amendment and of the vote R’s trying to protect you Dems all voting against it…

NEW: Over the weekend, "Seattle Dances" raised more than $1.5 million dollars for Plymouth Housing, a controversial non-profit claiming to be solving homelessness. Organizers even managed to rope in local journalists and "celebrities" to push their agenda. But critics crashed this party with a protest, to educate Seattle's donor class about what's really happening inside these so called "permanent supportive housing" facilities. Just look at the 911 calls and police reports that continue to show a pattern of crime, chaos, and death whenever Plymouth buildings are built in communities.
