@realkaypius Power can get you an airstrip….. but not safety. With power you can force a pilot to fly, but cannot guarantee your own life. Safety is a serious business, it doesn’t recognise power….

Funeral in #Baramati means a whole lot of VIPs & dignitaries will descend down on the town, many by helicopters & small planes, to the same airstrip with spartan facilities, no nav or landing aids & typical winter weather in the early hours tomorrow. The logic is lost on me. 🙏🏽

@Mohan_Rngnathan I wasn’t aware ALPA is also in it. ALPA had a meeting with @DGCAIndia. so basically, DGCA is playing along because of pressure and ALPA would use the opportunity to lead the pilots. Pathetic. Same old story. Pilots are on their own….

@AwakenIndia You can add ALPA-I along with FIP. I have blocked them &I will not lift a finger to help them in future. They call me an agent of Boeing! I really gave it back when a writer in NYT magazine lashed out at Asian&African pilots after the Max crashes. I wrote a strong counter in ET

FIP, an otherwise glorified insurance agent, has done nothing for pilots. Even the issue of NOC has not been properly challenged and pressed. They didn’t do anything on FDTL. Now they want to sue ⁦@Mohan_Rngnathan⁩. Great. Hope FIP doesn’t end up with eggs on its face.

DRAMA.Notice to @Mohan_Rngnathan achieves nothing. Interpreting facts is not illegal.Instead of focusing on ACTUAL pilot problems, they are competing for eyeballs.These people don't even reply to mails, if a pilot shares a problem. ZERO help to young guys struggling.

The leadership at FIP will loose all credibility, if at all any is remaining, if they sue capt ranganathan. You fight the incompetent corrupt system and not each other. Pilots need strong leadership and not public relations manager.

FIP…please spend the money of the pilots into something productive. For eg. sue @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI for its policies on FDTL, NOC…sue airlines on bonds, leave policies, sick leaves, medicals etc, sue AAIB for its unprofessional preliminary report.

What eminent crusader for aviation safety Yeshwant Shenoy @AwakenIndia is saying is that IF Air India crash was indeed a suicide, it doesn’t absolve anyone. It incriminates EVERYONE! Here is an affidavit from him 6 years ago talking about mounting stress among pilots due to harmful job terms and conditions. He says he speaks to more pilots than anyone, so don’t take him lightly. Also underlines an imp aspect - pilots will not seek psychiatric intervention even if they want to bcz outdated norms that will result in their grounding. Pay close attention to this.
